Thank you very much for your lovely comments! It's very nice to know that this was a welcome R/T something in your inbox. gilpin25 and I are very delighted you found this a lot of fun and liked their reactions, though we can't claim any credit for the handwriting -- just a good ability to choose fonts. ;)
Hopefully we won't be too long coming with the second part. Glad you're looking forward to it, though.

Anyway, this was a lovely bit of bedtime reading and just what I needed after a hard day reading Balzac! It had me smiling and chuckling all the way through and Remus' abrupt reply that time hit me nearly as hard as it must have hit Tonks. I think you've captured their voices very well and I loved all the little in-jokes. I feel we really must hear some of Sirius' stories sometime!
My mind boggles at what 'Up the duff' evening is and Remus' mission seems most mysterious.
Great job! I really felt like I was reading someone elses mail. ;)

It's great to know you found this a nice read after Balzac! I think if ever there were a case for fanfic, it would be that! Anyway, we're so very pleased you liked this and found yourself caught up in this kind of storytelling and feeling the characters' emotions with them. It's definitely how I felt as we were working on it, and we hoped that would translate to our readers, as well!
More on "Up the Duff" night to come... ;)
Thank you very very much for commenting. :)

“Hoo-oo.”
“If you’re saying that I’m making entirely too much of this, then you’re absolutely right.” Remus sighed again. “In a minute, I’ll be asking you what you would do if you were me?”
*giggles* Good to know that Remus knows he's driving himself nuts
The post card that he used is gorgeous!
I think Tonks' stationary is pretty, despite what she thinks...but yes, very not Tonks
ROFL about the goat postcard
Uncle Alastor did once lend me an interesting book entitled ‘Beware of the Open Invitation’, and I took note of many things. Before remembering that I then had to eat those notes to be vigilant.
*laughs hysterically* Oh poking fun of Moody is just too much fun
you see, you’re not the only punny one, Romulus
Ah! So HE didn't choose that name because of Remus & Romulus but because Tonks mentioned it to him. It all makes sense ;)
I worry about you. Why aren’t you out ( ... )

Wow, I love this, both of you, did a great job! I love the way you did it, the different post cards, the different voices of Remus and Tonks, which where perfect and fitting and having two different writers write them is refreshing and fun to read!
I'll wait eagerly for the next part :D

My favorite exchange was Tonks's drunk letter followed by Remus's two short notes--I was cringing when I read Tonks's letter, because I could just see how Remus was going to take it the wrong way, and sure enough...poor Remus. At least Tonks cleared that up!
Looking forward to the next part...particularly if Remus would be so kind as to finally resolve the tattoo mystery. ;~)

The drunk letter and the replies to it were some of the most fun, but most difficult bits to write because they're such a pivotal moment in the story, so we're relieved and pleased to know you cringed at Tonks' words and that Remus reacted the way you thought he would.
And of course we're especially happy you're looking forward to more. And you might just see something about that tattoo... ;)
Your feedback is so lovely. We really appreciate you reading and taking the time to let us know what you thought. :)
