End of term!

Excitement!
I met a controversial politician today (not in terms of horrible human being, but the right wingers absolutely loathe him and as if the right-wing media will give him a fair media). I have very mixed feelings for him in general; I do feel that I approve and appreciate a lot of what he says, but at the same time his stance on Brexit is....nagl ( Read more... ) -

Trials of work
It's extraordinarily hard working everyday with teenagers and children. Rarely do you get anything back, and particularly when you are support staff, your accomplishments get overlooked. Sometimes I find it hard to remember why I do what I do, particularly when students you've worked so hard for throw your work back in your face. But my new task is ( Read more... ) -
Revival!
So....after 7 years of not blogging, I'm going to retry this thing. What will be posted will be a combination of politics, thoughts, rantings about workplace difficulties and some lighthearted joy (hopefully). -

Wedding fever
Sure are a lot of weddings going on. Before 2012, I have 3 weddings to attend. 3! All 25 and under.
There's nothing like wedding fever to make you realise how single you are.
Also my throat hurts. Sad times for everyone involved. -

This Julian Assange controversy is pissing me off in many ways. Mostly because when conversation surrounding the rape allegations and the women in the middle of this is attempted, the other side butts in, showing their male privilege and trying to derail the conversation.
