Alright, so here is a post to get an idea of what and all will be occuring with the Island Bookclub

First of all... this is so awesome. Sacharissa's pretty pleased with the idea of joining up.

Maybe once a month would be a reasonable number of times to have the meeting? Like, say, the third Friday of every month or some such that's unlikely to get overrun by monthly plots. I like the idea of playing them out, at least every once in a while, because it would be nice to have a new set of pups get to know each other that way.

I definitely like the once a month on a certain day idea. As per myself, a Friday wouldn't work come the school season, but perhaps something like the Third Sunday or Thursady would work out well. It'll definitely give everyone time to work out what their pup has gotten from the reading material, and it'll be easy to plan around so the muns know the meeting is coming up, and to avoid tagging anything big the day of the meeting (unless it's for serious plotting of course :D).

Um, yes please to 1984. Definitely.

And I agree with Stef about once a month working well. It gives us time to play things out, and look up things for the books we're reading.

I'm very excited this is happening! It'll be good for Katurian to meet more people, especially through literature. Just don't let him bring any of his own stories, they'd probably scar most of the members. XD

Yes, there was a maybe for Carrie. She might have to join up a bit later though, as while you were gone, she found her item and is still recovering. xD

Oooo I do believe that Pam would love reading The Secret Garden again. The only preference on the day I have is that it not be Sundays. I have another internet-y thing that I do Sunday nights and I usually go out for dinner then, too. But, yes. Other than that.. xDD
