Alright, so here is a post to get an idea of what and all will be occuring with the Island Bookclub.
First off, I'll list some possible books to be in the Club's queue and everyone is free to make suggestions based on what their pups are fond of or would like a chance to read. We'll want to decide on each book the Club reads out of game like this, and everyone can likely find the classic literature with explanations, context, sypnosis and such at Sparknotes.com.
Rosie's list:
A Passage to India by E. M. Forster
1984 by George Orwell
A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court by Mark Twain
The Jungle by Upton Sinclair
Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare
A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens
Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf
Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie
Emma by Jane Austen
The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett
Lord of the Flies by William Golding
Another thing we need to decide is how often the club will meet. As I'm sure most of you agree, once a week is too often to realistically thread every week, so suggestions to how often we'll actually play it out and whether or not some meetings should just be handwaved would be appreciated. Ideas for anything else would be nice, and I suppose that, knowing Rosie, she'll hold the meetings in the rec-room with refreshments, or if the weather is particularily nice, will move the club outdoors to sit somewhere in the shade and enjoy the sunshine.
As I said, suggestions, any questions and comments are welcome, and I'd like to decide when the first meeting should be held so I can have Rosie post a notice and let herself get prepared.

ETA: For random reference, here is the list of pups that muns had said may be interested in joining, back from when I first brought up the idea. If it's not a problem, I'd like everyone to give me an idea of exactly who is coming, if only for my own reference so I might avoid canon punctury-material and make sure Rosie has enough books and food >_>
