Where the f***k are all these spiders coming from?

Okay, we've always had the occasional spider in our house.  Most of the time, I'd kill about one a week.  Usually, I flush them down the toilet.  Now you're probably saying, "Oh, but spiders are good!"  Outside maybe, but not in my house.  These guys are so busy inside that I'll go to work in the morning and find a large intact cobweb in the corner ( Read more... )

Your spider explosion seems to be at the same time as my moth explosion. My theory is that the eggs and or juveniles lay dormant somewhere cool and well-hidden over the winter, and they've been woken by the lovely hot weather we've been having. It's not a great theory, but I have heard other people talk about moth explosions in April, so there may be something to it.

That could be it. Also, we should probably have the ducts cleaned again. They could be hiding in there, which would explain why they are accessing all areas of the house.

EEEWWWW!!!

P.S. I'm not feeling so bad about moving anymore.
