I do not mind honest advertising when I visit web sites.

Sometimes, a website will seem to have less-than-savory ads, that launch a handful of pop-up ads, and scary looking websites, that are difficult to close.

Went to SCALE yesterday. 1st time attendee, though I've tried to be able to attend for years. Thanks to being a SGVLUG member, was half-price. Attended talks on Community, Mentoring, and the Linux kernel. Got to chat up fellow SGVLUG members, and ran into some previous co-workers from WBOL.

Have watched the first two episodes of MrRobot.

Like the show. Feels honest. Social challenged protagonist, anti-greed mentality. Conflicted. Issues. Using Linux/*nix/ssh and command line commands to do his security analysis. Show even mentioned Gnome and KDE in the pilot.
