He initially offered $10,000 to the United Negro College Fund for video evidence of the slurs. Not quite what I was saying.
Obama isn't saying the leadership was racist, but that a larger than normal sliver of their active members has specific racial beefs against brown immigrants and black presidents. And I think the implication is they are more active and more vocal than those racist members of the other main parties.

Gotcha. And I admit it might be a valid criticism, but without (statistical or video) evidence to support it is this a meaningful statement? As a journalist would it fit your criteria to be reported to the public as a front page story or merely as a concerned editorial piece for example?
