I still have 20 mins to go until House so I haven't read your post yet but I just have to say your icon is so much love. :D

Great episode. All the House/Wilson interaction was lots of fun to watch and is probably one of my biggest reasons on why I enjoy the show. And I have to agree with you, I think I prefer House not having a team though I know they'll eventually come back. Let's hope it does continue with them being MIA. I hope next week will be just as entertaining.

And RSL! I was first introduced to him in 10th grade when my English teacher showed us both Much Ado About Nothing and Dead Poets Society. I didn't recognize him at first when I first started watching this since he looks so much older but he is still a cutie.

Cute icon! :)

Next week seems to be all about him having to hire a new team. That's too bad. I would have enjoyed seeing him work on his own for a while longer. I know the lackeys will come back, but a part of me wishes the writers would change their minds. It really goes to show that their absence doesn't diminish the quality of the show.

I saw Dead Poets Society ages and ages ago. I barely remember it so I definately don't remember RSL. He must have been really young. Which version of Much Ado About Nothing is he in?

I TOTALLY agree with you. Fantastic, fantastic episode. Only equaled for me with a few episodes in S2 and Act Your Age. I love how both Cuddy and Wilson get House and play his game while not putting up with his crap. It just shows why they're all so awesome together. Dr. Buffer will never get old. And House/Wilson pranking each other made my night completely and reminded me why I love both of them and am so in love with their relationship. Mmm Wilson is casual clothes. I've always been attracted to him too but in this episode he equaled House for me which is saying a LOT. I LOVED the fact that the ducklings were gone, didn't miss them at all either. We just got more of the good stuff. And the PotW was decent with that twist at the end (I love twists) that really worked.

Is it next Tuesday yet?

I hope there is a return of Dr. Buffer. lol. That was definately one of the highlights.

The House/Wilson in this episode was just awesome. I was so overwhelmed by how great their chemistry was. lol. It really made the episode all the better.

Seriously, Wilson in casual clothes and messy hair was so hot! WTF?! He really did equal House in this episode. I hope House wakes him up in the middle of night more often. ;)

Ugh. I was so happy the lackeys were gone. They were getting so tired. And whiny. I really wish they weren't coming back. lol.

*The episode opens with a crazy explosion. I was already hooked.

Definitely a cool beginning. Especially 'cause they have you thinking that she really is hallucinating, but no, all that shaking of the building was for real.

*House and the janitor, "Dr. Buffer", equals excellence. lol.

That ended up being a lot funnier than I thought it would be from the previews. =D

It's moments like these (hell, it's full episodes like these) that was sorely lacking in S3.

Oh, I totally agree. If the rest of this season can have the lighthearted moments like this episode had, that'd be awesome.

*I thought the POTW was really interesting. I really liked the surprise turnaround at the very end when it turns out they had the wrong patient all along. It was really sad, yet it made the episode feel like excellence of S1.

I totally agree with this, too. I liked that it wasn't so much that they had solved a medical mystery but rather that they just had the wrong patient. So simple. It was a nice twist.

*Overall: interesting POTW and, even better, ( ... )

I know. It's funny because I remember thinking, "Oh, ANOTHER hallucination scenario?" and then the building blew up. lol. I was like, "Okay...nevermind!"

I hadn't seen any Dr. Buffer previews so I didn't know that was going to happen. I thought it worked out really well.

I know the writers already know this but I hope that, this season, they REALLY understand that, no matter how many people support House/Cuddy or House/Cameron or whatever, almost 100% of the show's viewers love House/Wilson moments and they should really, really keep that up this year.

I remember reading about the real medical case that inspired the one in the show. It's so sad, yet totally believable. And, like you said, I liked that it wasn't so much a solved case as a switched identity.
