Soooo, I broke my toe last sunday in guard practice. Dropped a flag pole on it and shattered the distal phalange of my 5th toe. :-( Its pretty dissapointing cuz i've never broken a bone before... and i kinda wish it would have been a rifle or saber... anything but a stupid flag pole! I went to the "doctor" today at the HSC. She told me not to worry about my brain/head issues and that it was probably only a subcutaneous peripheral pain referral... that means i'm okay :-D She did warm me to keep an eye on any side effects in case I have a brain tumor! NICE!!! Whatever! Hehe...

I had a really fun time at practice today. It seems like everything is slowly comming together. We laugh a lot durring practice, which is great. Sometimes we talk too much which causes practice to go on and on and on... The new drill is waaaaay better and I have a lot less trouble getting through the flag work. Been at practiced all day. Crazy work! So many cones and so many neck roll. I have work at UMC tomorrow from 8-12 and practice from 12-6pm... BOO! Hopefully things will start to sink in tomorrow. If not, I'll go crazy!

I'm back in Lubbock now for the rest of my break. Its kinda nice to hang out here with Jimmy, but I've had to work the past three days (fri, sat, sun of New Years weekend) and that kinda sucked.
