beauty queen
My daughter decided to open her own "beauty boutique" in her bedroom today. She made a spot for a foot bath and massage. She filled a bowl with hot soapy water, placed it on top of a towel and placed a stool next to it, to sit on. Then she made a little corner of her room, to do hair and put make-up on people. I just finished cooking breakfast for my family, we ate and it was done quick. Everyone is full and happy, I hope. I made an apple flan. It was really good. The kids had 'coffee milk' and they enjoyed it ( Read more... ) -
guppy problems
So I woke up this morning and went to feed my fish. I noticed the two female guppies (proudly named Dory & Princess, by Riley) have protruding scales...they look kind of porcupine-ish. I looked it up, which I have been trying to do a lot lately...educating myself on different fish diseases and infections. It looks like they have Dropsy. Which isn' ( Read more... ) -
buzz...
buzz-zing.......is what I am hearing in my head right now. I am so tired from today. I babysat most the day, and had to deal with some very crabby kids! Argh. I had a Corona with a very yummy dinner this evening and relaxed though. I made a cheesy potato casserole and we had salad, delish comfort food!

Not sure what happened to my last couple entries. I am thinking it has something to do with a little person messing with my computer. Oh well. I am too lazy to fix it anyway.

calming
Since I posted earlier...things around me have calmed down a bit. It is raining outside, that always relaxes me. Earlier this evening, my hubby and I started a discussion about Liam Neeson.
