I've just heard from the town mailing list I'm on, that the bridge over the Nashua river on 119 connecting Groton to Pepperell has collapsed is fine.

EDIT: It was a big lie!! Or a giant, terrible game of telephone. Not true, regardless. :-P

My Kitchen Aid stand mixer has been making some strange noises, and so I went to take it apart (you know, the old take it apart, clean it, regrease it and put it back together song & dance) and got stuck at the split-the-case-halves step, when I could not figure out how to get the locating pins to let go (STORY OF MY LIFE).
