We also hope that we're approchable enough that players can come up to us and straight up say, "Hey, I'm really interested in playing X, and I've noticed you're not very active with them, so can we work something out?"

You guys totally are, and that might work for players already in game, but I don't think it's really a great compromise in the end. I know when I'm looking at a game as a prospective player, if the character I want is on the taken list, I'm not gonna message them to be like SO DO YOU WANNA DROP, even if they've only posted like two times ever. RP is first come, first serve, in a lot of ways.

As for AC, I definitely understand your guys' side of it, because holy shit you do so much work for such a huge game, but if making AC is coming up as a problem that's making people flip out and be dicks, it has to be managed somehow. I think there's a few easy fixes available? The mods can drop whatever characters are super inactive or not as strong voicewise -- as a player I think it's easier to grant wiggle-room for not meeting ( ... )

I know what you mean. :|a I have no idea what kinda stuff they do outside of the stuff that we helper mods do, so from that I can't really say. Exactly how much we're helping, but they can clarify that for us, I guess. I do hope we're making a difference though! I personally am constantly checking things like the reserves post and stuff so I can quickly take care of it so the main mods won't have to worry about it.

Hahaha yes, besides that. Plus apps and stuff, but I mean I don't really know the scope of how many people go to them with questions and problems and the like, so I can't... gauge their work load on my own.

Right, very true. I don't know how much they get either, besides the things I report myself. But I'm under the impression that cleaning up wank is a big part of what makes mod work harder than mod helper work.

Meaning a big way everyone can help the mods is WANK LESS. B|

... okay, no. I'm kidding. Kind of. Conflicts and the resulting drama are part of the territory. But while conflicts are always going to happen, the drama doesn't always have to. Especially if the mods are brought into the problem before the explosion, rather than after.

I'd thought a lot of those actions might have started taking place, Ant I at least know was considering dropping a few dudes for a while.

As for hitting half-ratio, the only problem I can think of is in a sort of EDIT TO SELF is that it shouldn't be... the same half ratio group every month, because then it becomes character squatting? Like if I play Dopey, Sleepy, Grumpy, and Happy, and keep meeting that 2/4 every month with Dopey and Sleepy, something's gotta give!
