Arriving at Worlds End didn't really take much effort. She'd been taking long weekends away from the Company for months now, and with how busy her father was with everything else she was barely noticed as missing at most times. She didn't live on site anymore either so it wasn't exactly a difficult task to get away unnoticed anymore. Once there she was a bit overwhelmed by it all and really excited to be in a social setting like this. The biggest party she'd been to was an awkward Company function when her dad introduced her to everyone the exact same way, 'This is Elle, she's quite useful.' Which now looking back upon it upset her a bit to realize the truth of it all.

Still this was new for her, it was exciting and it was a lot of people to meet. She'd gotten Toad a gift, and tried to make sure it was appropriate despite only knowing very few things about him. The fact that he wanted to look at her was the only hint she had, and her father always told her that a book was always a safe gift to give ( ... )

But that doesn't mean nobody there knows who she is. Because Mike is nothing if not nosy.

"Hello," he says, stepping out of the crowd in that way he does with his 'Don't Touch' T-Shirt and his jeans and his complete lack of shoes and walking half-an-inch off the floor. "Here for Toad's birthday party? Hi! I'm Mike!"

Putting on her best smile, since really she'd hate to be impolite when meeting new people she turns around to greet the person talking to her, which is not Toad. She's pretty sure she'll know Toad when she sees him, and she's also pretty sure that despite this one walking... floating (?!) up to her that it's also not Jono, and all the mystery is unveiled with a name, "Hi, I'm Elle, and I hope I'm here for Toad's party or else I've just happened upon a rather bizarre coincidence."

"It could happen," Mike said seriously. "I once went to a party where fifteen people turned up in the same dress. How they got in that dress, we'll never know."

He grinned.

"Drink? The bartender takes some getting used to, what with being a poetry-proclaiming android, but he knows pretty much anything you can think of."

Toad's her teammate and friend. Not coming would just be wrong. Not that Rogue doesn't want to come. She's just worried about Pyro and Toad because of Pyro's absence and Sally and Avalanche because of the girl. The only member of the Brotherhood she isn't worried about is Erik but she's pretty sure that'll change soon enough.

Rogue sways to the music and moves carefully through the crowd. Eventually she'll bump into someone she knows or someone she doesn't. That's how it is at these things. Never know who you'll meet.

Toad knows the smell of Rogue anywhere, and totally picks up it as soon as she walks in the bar.

"Rogue!" he says, coming up to her. "You made it! Good to see you!" he says, as if it's been years instead of hours.

"Didn't I just see ya off?" Rogue grins and kisses him on the cheek. "Happy birthday, Toady."

"Thanks, my dear!" he says with a bright smile, and hugs her back in return. He's just in a good, genuine mood, and he's happy that she's there.

He just has to make sure not to think about Pyro, that wanker.

"Oh, bollocks," he says out loud, frowning. "I thought about him!"

Machi still couldn't believe that she decided to go this birthday party. Technically, her brother decided for her but details like that are best left unsaid.

"Stupid brother and his 'meat angel' wants the main house to themselves so I had to leave. I hope they appreciate this since I left the country to give them alone time!"

Machi was less angry when she entered Worlds End. She looked around to see if she can see any familiar faces or people who look friendly.

"Machi!" Mike beams. "Hello agan! I was on my way to leave and I suddenly remembered I'd totally forgotten to say hello. So, hello! Having fun?"

Machi smiles. "Hello Mike. It is an interesting party. I heard you were paying for it. I may be wrong but I think there is an alternative reality Toad here at Toad's birthday party."

"What, Todd? I met him! He is very teen-Toad, isn't he? Like looking in a fun-house mirror. A time-bending fun-house mirror."

Mike pauses, considering this.

"Actually, that'd be pretty cool, I wonder if such a thing exists?"

Can a party where all are welcome still have crashers?

Sure. Todd can crash anything. Parties. Stores. Cars. He is, somewhat related-ly, unwanted in most places. But he's looked about fourteen since he was about fifteen (at fourteen he looked approximately twelve), and most people at the various events he slinks his way into tend to assume he's some other guest's or distant relation's ugly child, that they would prefer stayed away from their own less ugly children. Although he does look like the sort of boy who might have pot, which is always welcome at weddings. Todd generally claims to be with the bride.

Right now he's laying claim to the bar snacks.

"Hello!" Mike says. "The breadsticks are good."

Todd spits out a breadstick in surprise. It lands harmlessly at his feet. He picks it up and shoves it back in his mouth.

"Uh, yeah, yo," he agrees, giving the man a thumbs up and an extremely yellow-toothed smile.

"Although if you're real hungry there's a short-order cook around the side. Fries, sandwiches, burgers. It's all on the house tonight." Mike grins. "Help yourself. Drinks too. It's a party after all!"

He's floating half-an-inch off the floor. It says "Don't Touch" on his T-Shirt. These things are only slightly related.

"Mister Grey!"

Mike beams.

"Hello! I thought you were dead. Or, no, wait, maybe that was one of the Petrillis."

"Sylar, then!" Mike beams. "Electric girl said something about a virus? People always recommend chicken soup, I have no idea why. It has no medical benefit at all!"
