Open RP: Toad's Birthday Celebration!

(ooc: Worlds End description borrowed (and slightly tweaked) from shaman_x, who first posted it for the karaoke party. Used with permission.)

Worlds End. There are entrances for it all over the world, all marked with the neat gold print of the Worlds End marquee. No matter where you are, you'll be able to find an entrance in the busiest and trendiest part of town. Take a little time for a closer look, and knowing what you're looking for, you'll be able to find it.

Come on in, and note the sign on the door:

At the behest of Mortimer Toynbee, Worlds End
is delighted to present for your enjoyment

CELEBRATION
(drinking, dancing, pool, and karaoke
await you inside)

All costs are covered, courtesy of
Michael Connor.

All are welcome!

For the safety and security
of our patrons, full Sanctuary
wards are in force. No violence
is possible on or near these
premises.

Magic sensitives and psychics may notice the barest touch as they enter, like brushing a cobweb. There's no reason to be alarmed. Worlds End is an inn, a bar, a club, a sometime pub restaurant, just around the corner of the multiverse. It exists in many levels in convoluted ways, always cozy, never cramped, a generous mix of public and private spaces, nooks, crannies and open stages.

The interior is the same dark wood as the doors, from the ceiling rafters to the panels on the walls, save for where the polished stone of the building has been allowed to show through. A vast skylight stretches overhead and though you can not see out, it reflects the myriad lights below like a sea of stars. The walls too glitter, inbetween murals and retro adverts and pseudo-windows created by broken, mirrored glass. Dark red chairs and green tables sneak around pillars and along walls, forming and blocking paths through the throng.

A Doombot clanks slowly along behind a central bar lit to unobtrusively catch your passing attention. It hums, sometimes, and speaks in rhyming couplets, proclaimed at volume, and it knows three thousand, six hundred and twelve different cocktails. There are waiters and waitresses too, dark skinned K with four arms and fiery temper, the ginger Viz, young dark-haired Addy, all ready to serve you whatever refreshments you desire. Grab a drink or two, then come further in.

If you hunger for more than bar snacks, turn left at the stairs and order from the always grinning Mister D. His tones are as leaden as his food is superb. Otherwise, take the short flight down and here, away from the bar, the stage awaits for singers, one and all.

Take the flight of stairs up, and you'll find a club, equipped with another bar and another Doombot, and a dance floor with flashing lights and the lastest and most popular dance music pumping through the speakers. Feel free to leave a request with the DJ!

Yet one more flight up, and you'll find a pub-like setting (with a bar of its own), including booths and pool tables, dart boards, and pinball machines. Yes, pinball machines. Come up to the third floor to chill and relax in an environment more suitable for chatting with friends, acquaintances, and even strangers.

Let the Celebration begin!
