It didn't hurt that I think Carey Mulligan is both gorgeous and incredibly talented...

Aye. ^^

:o)

Oh. Wait! I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue tomorrow evening is the 2nd one I saw recorded and includes a compeltely fab Mornington Crescent game with a special computer (with a crush on Mr Fry)

Would that be a 6:30pm on Radio 4 and then on "Listen Again" for the rest of the week kind of deal? I keep meaning to actually listen to ISIHAC one day...

David.

6:30 on Radio 4 yes, and if you catch the Listen Again before 6:30 tomorrow you'll get the first of the 2 London shows as well *g* but I left it a little late to remind you of that!

Well, it's still up there, so it's not too late!

:o)

I saw The Goodies a couple of months back - they were great fun, really hysterically silly. Looking forward to more of the same with ISIHAC.

Have just listened. So were you at that one, then? It was very funny.

I promised you a CS book didn't I? Was it Lavender? And Love's Labours Lost. I shall try and remember to post them at some point!

Carey Mulligan is indeed gorgeous and talented and I was very impressed by her. And the statues were terrifying!

If it was Lavender, which it may well have been, I now have a copy bought from teaandbooks so don't worry about it! Loves Labours Lost would be good though! (do I owe you anything, other than the Gather notebooks which I just found under a pile of books *blushes*)

Okey dokey, no problem. What books do you need then? I might have one or two - you never know! :)

Not as far as I know. I'd forgotten about the notebooks!

New CS, Bride, Joey goes to the Oberland, Does It Again, Fete, Excitement, Leader, Redheads, Adrienne, Summer Term and Two Sams.

Which is actually 11 as I can't count *g* but I'm getting there! I was very surprised when I managed to get them all there and in order (and discovered a couple of doubles of my own in the paperbacks, I'm keeping my doubles of the GGBs as I like seeing where they were cut)

You almost certainly did but you know that Stephen (sp?) Moffat is the guy who wrote Coupling, right? Just wanted to add an extra reason for the love :)

Anyone who can invent both Jeff Murdoch and those scary angels must be cool <3

And Press Gang. For that he has my undying love and admiration.

(Hmm. Really high time I got myself a Press Gang icon...)

I probably did know that at some point in the past but I'd forgotten! *g*

BTW. Did you know you can get a light up Doctor Who duck?

I had no idea who Carey Mulligan was until I saw the episode, but damn, she is hot and also awesome. I want to squeeze her till she explodes.

But yes. Blink. I loved Blink. I was dancing around ranting about how it was the best Doctor Who episode I had seen. It made me very happy. And the statues! With the mouths! And the scary! Holy crap. I kept going '...ughghh!' every time they moved/randomly turned up.

And I loved the way the Doctor was in it but wasn't in it. I even loved Martha a bit in this episode - it seems like she and the Doctor have finally settled in to a kind of relationship, and maybe she's getting over the whole zomgloveyouwantohaveyourbabies syndrome. Which is an improvement. It's clear she still has feelings for him, but it seems to have kind of calmed down, and she's not sooo worried about impressing him all the time.

So many great one-liners, too. 'Timey wimey thing'. 'It beeps when there's stuff!' and so on. Made me a happy Kia. :)

I keep seeing pictures of statues now, completely unrelated to the episode, and they make me shudder every time. A properly scary, hide-behind-the-sofa, episode :D

That Timey wimey line... a couple of days later I was listening to a very serious (*rolls eyes*) debate on Free Will and the nature of God and I had to bite my tongue hard to keep from quoting it. It was genius thoguh, and the Easter Egss <3

Hehe yes. The easter egg thing was great. Actually the whole 'time line' of the episode was awesome - I loved the ending, with Sally Sparrow running out in to the street and sort of saving her own neck by virtue of giving the Doctor her notes.

The debate on free will and the nature of God sounds fascinating! What were you listening in on it for (University?).
