He lifts the cowl of his cloak up and over his head; it hides his face from view. Perhaps if he were concealed, he wouldn’t be stopped. Being close to this many politicians was not his favourite thing in the galaxy. Neither was flying; however, since he didn’t need to fly, that was irrelevant.
Actually, if he’d had to choose, he would’ve preferred flying.
He weaves between the Senators and their aides, following who he sought. He’d chased his quarry into this crowd and now he curses under his breath. He’d lost them. Her. Him. It. He should take his suspicions to Dexter and see if he were right; he’d let Anakin fly on a joy ride if he were.
Turning, he bows his head, pulling his outer robe more closely about. A hand on his arm stops him. Slightly, he lifts his head.
“Obi-Wan?”
He looks toward the voice and he realises no one has seen them. That doesn’t mean no one is watching.
He waves a hand under his cloak.”I am not who you are looking for,” he quietly intones.
She arches a brow. “You are not who I’m looking for?” She laughs, softly for she knows where they are. “Ask for Padmé when you come,” she murmurs. Then her hand moves and she is gone, lost within the crowd.
