I want Cameron back! Why does he have to be sick all the time? I'm so tired of subbing. Today I worked with a student who was blind, hearing impaired, and just had ankle surgery. I woke up with a swollen eye. I tried the hot towel compress thing on it and that didn't really make it feel better. I got some Stye eye drops for it and that seems to be helping a little. I'm irritated enough to kick a small child.

The protest yesterday was really cool to go to. I was so happy to see that people out there really care and are doing something about civil rights. It gives me hope that this country is waking up from some of this apathy ( Read more... )

I'm going to be taking on aiding a kindergartner with autism and leukemia. I really hope my life doesn't get as infinitely depressing as it sounds.

Day 1 of no caffeine and I made it. I had terrible headaches and by five pm my sinus cavities were aching too, but then they subsided an hour or so later.
My moods were generally much more stable. I'm not sure if that was because I was busy all day or the lack of caffeine.
My first goal is one week.

Pre-School was great today. I felt really confident and actually did stuff with the kids. I drew Eli a mouse, made carrots and snowmen with Cassandra and Grant with play-doh, and got some cross-crawl into circle time.

I tend to forget that I know how to do my job and that I should be more confident. Nice.

Bad Religion was awesome.

Lightning Woodcock was definitely an experience.
