It's always a little weird to find one's self suddenly on another planet.
Taiki recognizes the blonde odangos even from behind, and approaches from that direction quietly. He leans over her shoulder. "Going for a record, Odango?" he asks lightly, before leaning out some so he can see her face. "Ah, that's not right at all. What's with that face?"
Uninvited, the young man takes a seat across from Usagi like he's known her for years. "What's wrong? Mamoru-san say something mean again?"
This is where Usagi leaps up and flails at Taiki about how he knows Mamoru, how he knows her, what he's doing in her booth and most importantly, who he is and does he have money to treat her to the next round?
Instead, and this is probably a sign Something Is Very Wrong, Usagi just looks up at the stranger and peers blankly at him for a moment. "Do I know you from somewhere?"
"Usagi-chan, are you okay?" he asks worriedly then, leaning forward a little.
Ack--he nearly faceplants into the table. "You don't know me?" He motions to himself then in a pose a little too big for sitting at a table. "Three Lights number one handsome boy, Taiki Kou!" Yes he just introduced his name backwards from traditional Japanese standards. Please don't call him Kou-kun or anything weird.
A couple of people give him weird looks and he ducks a bit. Geez, was this world that early that they didn't know the amazing talent that was the Three Lights? Or maybe they were lucky enough Galaxia didn't exist here.
Usagi sits up a little straighter, lured by the mystery of the person she's still sure she's never met. Must be the nexus. Three Lights... hadn't that been the group-
"Seiya-san's group?" Not really the reaction of a fangirl. They haven't made it big here yet.
It's the worst thing to say. For a moment it seems like Usagi may not even have heard it or is ignoring it, except that the slump of her shoulders deepens. She takes a few more slow, dragging steps before she can't bite her tongue and whirls around.
"Of course I care!" she objects vehemently. Of course she does! "But if that person was innocent, it's wrong to use my power against them, too!"
Right, Usagi. Innocent when they've got the senshi at their mercy ready to finish them off?
Yes! If they were being manipulated, if it wasn't really them. She's seen plenty of enemies - even daimon! - that way.
There's someone looking at Usagi from across the cafe - a girl with black hair, wearing a black trenchcoat, a glass of bubble tea in her hands. And, guess what? She's going to sit herself right at Usagi's table, a smirk on her face.
"You shouldn't eat too much, Princess!" There is an edge to her cheerfulness, a kind that is all too familiar to those who might know of any Dark Mercury. "You're going to get fat."
Princess? After a split second of near-panic and flailing, she decides it must be some joke. She doesn't recognize this girl suddenly sitting across from her at all. Then she looks closer and realizes it's Ami; she's met a dark-haired Ami only once before.
"Ami-chan?" That sort of teasing is a bit harsh coming from the Ami-chan of her world, and Usagi can't help being a bit thrown off by it.
"Ami-chan," Usagi says, much more quietly, "I think you forgot you're de-transformed." Which really surprises her from Ami of all people, but there she is calling herself Mercury in civilian form.
It wasn't odd to see Usagi in the cafe. It was odd, however, to see her in such a sad mood and not surrounded by her friends. He bid Motoki a farewell and moved towards her. He stopped at the table, counting how many sundaes she had eaten all ready.
She must have been in a horrible mood. "Penny for your thoughts, Usako?"
"Mamo-chan!" Usagi brightens a little immediately upon spotting him. "Don't count them," she protests a moment later, but she doesn't seem too seriously embarrassed.
"Um. Is everything alright?" She isn't really sure how to talk to him without making sure of that first. Is he mad at her, too? Are they fine?
He'd slide into the seat opposite of her, carefully moving some of the empty sundae glasses out of the way. He quirked an eyebrow up. "Yeah, everything's fine. Why wouldn't it be?"
"Ahaha... nothing! It's nothing! Just Usagi being silly! Nothing to worry about at all!" And that is also not suspicious at all. Usagi's eaten enough to actually remember to be polite by now, though, and she nudges the sundae glass towards Mamoru.
Ami stepped through the door to the cafe, holding her small blue computer that until that very moment had been inert. The first thing she noticed was that it had suddenly come back to life, displaying all manner of information. Only when she noticed the nature of the data did she look up and realize this wasn't where she'd been a moment before.
Glancing around slowly, the familiar surroundings came back to her, a bright smile forming upon her face. And then she saw Usagi, and that smile nearly grew beyond the confines of her face. "Usagi-chan?"
"Ami-chan!" Usagi looks up almost hesitantly, and- Ami's smiling. That makes Usagi smile, too, partly from relief.
"I didn't know you were coming," she admits. "Do you want some of the ice cream?" Judging from its half-melted and messy state, it might be better to order a new one.
So much had happened to her, so much she would never admit to openly, especially not here. It was all she could to but continue smiling as she inched her way closer to the table where the blond was seated.
"I... I didn't know I was coming, either," she admitted sheepishly, closing up the computer and taking a seat. How long had it been since she'd been in Crown? Far too long by her reasoning. "... Perhaps I should order another."
"Oh..." For a moment, she takes that to mean Ami is mad at her- and then Usagi realizes what it must really be.
"The nexus?" Anyway, it doesn't matter all that much; Ami-chan is Ami-chan. Usagi brightens and brushes a few sundae glasses out of the way to make room.

"I'd want to save both!" Isn't that always the best? Isn't that always what her power and what being a sailor senshi is?

Not friends, not using those names - she could mean any number of things.
