[Remus is upset. More upset than he's allowed himself to be for a while, so much that some of it is showing up on the second level. I'd better get on the ball, hadn't I? I would prefer not to buy everyone books last minute, since there are a few people who'd like... well, other things.

So - ha - if anyone has suggestions for Christmas gifts that would be lovely.

[Remus looks quite under the weather with the coming full moon. He's shivering a bit even though it's not very cold indoors, and he has a fleece blanket wrapped around his shoulders as he makes himself some cocoa in the kitchen. As he holds the mug between both hands to warm himself, a worried crease forms between his eyebrows.]

... Hm.

[Sips.]

A Victorian-themed masquerade, hm? [Remus tosses one of the advertisements for the gathering aside, replacing it with a bar of milk chocolate, which he unwraps with practiced ease.] Sounds rather like one of those charming little things Professor Dumbledore would come up with.

[Remus has arrived back to the sanctity of his room quite late, after his epic adventure through the city. He's not going to reveal where he was or what he was doing; in fact, he doesn't seem to notice he's on the second level at all.
