Sirius Black: For some inexplicable reason, he's one of my best friends. I've known him more than seven years and as such he can be disturbingly on-the-mark about what I may be feeling or thinking at the time. Clearly giving myself a lobotomy-- or should I say, Obliviating myself of my current personality will right this problem. For now, however, I must endure being measured and guessed by an obnoxious young man with an undercurrent of dog (no, really, he smells like a dog), until he leads me to my doom via dropping fire ants into my afternoon tea.

Since our arrival in Template City, we've been met by many strange circumstances. One has included thinking I was Sirius' brother. That was wrong on too many levels. After such an... experience, I've begun to wonder - or imagine, I'm not certain - about the underlying implications behind the bantering we participate in. Maybe I am imagining that there's something deeper, and for the sake of my sanity, I will continue to pretend it's nothing.

James Potter: The other best friend. Through thick and thin, he's held us together-- wherever we end up. In my opinion, James serves as the glue to the Marauders' friendship. He also serves as the butt of my own and Sirius' jokes whenever absent (or, at times, when he isn't) and he's frequently blamed for making up certain ludicrous concepts. Which I believe were thought up, for the most part, by Sirius Black himself. I admit I worry for James, at times, since his future son Harry is here while Lily's gone and disappeared on the poor lad.

On a lighter note, he and Sirius are quite adamant in forming a List of Reasons Why Remus is an Old Lady. So far scrapbooking, bird watching, pillow-arranging and knitting are included on this list. All lies, naturally. And I suspect he will add more at a later date.

Buffy Giles: I met her on the second level, accidentally, when I found the cross on my back. She's a nice young lady. Buffy found my scars impressive, although I had a feeling she knew something more. I was under the impression she was my younger sister for a week; soon after she found out about my secret from the aforementioned occurrence. I assume werewolves in her world are unlike those from mine, as she said I'm stuck with her now. That's proof enough to me.

Merton Dingle: A rather quirky individual who relishes in the gothic culture. He's a Muggle, like many others I've met here. Despite this, he desires to learn magic, which is of course impossible. Nonetheless, he found out the truth just as Buffy did, for he was my so-called "cousin". Now he's started making claims that his best friend is a werewolf. He wants to find a cure for my illness. I don't think it's quite that easy, nor do I think the werewolves in his world are like me at all.

Neville Longbottom: Neville is a peculiar one. He knows me in the future, insists on calling me "Professor Lupin" and has muttered under his breath about the full moon being near. He's from my world and he knows. Regardless, he's rather accepting of it, or perhaps ignorant to it-- I'm not sure. May also be the son of Frank Longbottom. I've yet to ask.

Kula Diamond: This girl asked me to teach her magic when I was practicing my own in the park. Upon questioning her whether anything strange has happened in her presence (signs of being a witch) she told me she witnessed a "man being attacked by a snake". It was Sirius, of course. That doesn't surprise me. Having to give a sixteen-year-old The Talk was surprising, so much that it included far too much stammering and too little eloquence. Not a bad girl, overall, though I rue the one who failed to teach her about sex the proper way.
