Thursday morning...
I just got back from the dentist's office after having Root Canals, Part 2. I'm glad it's over. I hurt more this time for some reason. I'm supposed to take antibiotics for 5 days. Oh boy, another pill to take. I called my doctor's office to try and get something else for my diabetes, what he gave me on my last visit hasn't done a thing for me. I ( Read more... ) -
It's the weekend...
I could be doing a million things right now, but I'm so tired, I don't feel like doing a thing. I went to the doctor's a couple of weeks ago and he gave me a new medication, Glucotrol, for my diabetes since I'm having problems controlling it. Nothing exciting has been going on, just the same old thing. Work has finally gotten busy again. It will probably be this way until October. Ugh! I don't like it when I can't even take a breath between calls. Husband has gone out to run some errands this afternoon, so I'm here by myself. I don't get to be alone much, so I'm going to enjoy it. Parking or No Parking...
Husband and I did not make it to the Arts & Artisan Festival. We tried, but when we got there, we could not find any parking. We got frustrated and decided to visit the Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center when there is not an event going on. It's Friday!!
The morning after my last post, Twiggy showed up. Go figure. She hasn't wandered off again and she's been very affectionate. Maybe her wandering behavior has come to an end. I hope so. I was happy to see her!
Tomorrow is the the Art & Artisans Festival. I'm looking forward to that. Details to come. -
It's been a long time...
I did not know it had been over a year since I made an entry. I don't know if I'll continue to post or not. When I had a journal under a different user name, I was totally into it, but I deleted that journal a long time ago and when I decided to try again, it just didn't feel the same. I'm cold...
I took today off from work and did some Christmas shopping. It wasn't the best days for shopping. It was chilly and a light rain was falling the whole time. I hate messing with umbrellas, so I didn't bother with it. Anyway, I got two gifts for my husband, which brings his gift count to three. I also got my mom's, a fairy statue for her garden. Feeling better...
I have felt terrible for about a week with an awful cold. I'm finally feeling better, even though I'm still coughing and having to blow my nose. I came down with it the day before Thanksgiving. Fortunately, I was still able to function that day. I'm so glad that Thanksgiving turned out to be a small affair. When I was younger, colds did not knock ( Read more... ) -
Think I'll have some cheese with my whine...
I think I'm having perimenopausal symptoms. Mainly hot flashes or as I like to call them, my heat waves. I woke up last night drenched in sweat. The A/C was on and the ceiling fan so I know the house was not too warm. I've been so bitchy and moody lately, too. Been AWOL for awhile...
I have neglected my journal, I know. I'm going to try and be better about it. I got sprung from work early today. We have been slow.
