Seriously, I leave fandom for a little while for law school, and next thing I know apparently Jag is the Emperor (actually, I had to check like five different sources before I half-believed this) and Jaina is married to him. Jaina is married to Emperor Fel. I mean, is she seriously the Empress, or is this one of those things where he's abdicated,

Thanks! It's basically crazy, especially since it eats all my time, but sometimes (mostly the people and the holidays) good, haha. How have you been?

Ugh, yeah, I had a feeling it was never going to be less than all down hill, but...still. The Emperor Fel/Possibly-Empress-Fel thing is just *weird*. I'm honestly kind of surprised how much they ended up incorporating some of the YJK characters, which is almost a plus...but then they just used it to break all our hearts more effectively :( I almost would have preferred they all just left it in the nice YJK bubble, where we could have bemoaned how canon ignores happy things and then rewritten it in AU's without ever realizing how bad it could get.

I'm always so pleased when I turn out to be vindicated by canon (especially if they aren't vindicating some of the depressing stuff I've written). Aww, cool! I always love hearing about this sort of thing, especially since I know how clearly I can remember my own first fanfic (and first YJK fanfic) moments <3

Agggh, adulthood, who thought of that, right? I am trying to maintain that still in school (and for another year) = not an adult, but I have to start looking for a Real Career Job next year, so I'm running out of time on that one
