I know, I know, I know, I haven't posted in *ages*--over two months, and I'm very embarrassed that this isn't even a real post (which is coming, because I have a whole weekend ahead of me with nothing else to do, more on that later), but I just finished watching Dollhouse, and my sister is being callously unsympathetic.

As soon as Claire came in the room and started talking all crazy, I knew some MAJOR BADNESS was going to go down. And when she shot Bennett, I did exactly what I did in Dr. Horrible when Penny died, and I shouted, "I KNEW IT!"

I was really getting to love Bennett: I love the way she bounced back and forth on the moral scale and the craziness scale and she and Topher were OMG SO CUTE. I've become a major Topher fangirl, and his crush on her was ridiculously adorable. But, as we all know, be happy for even just a moment, and the person you love will die. Oh, Joss. *sigh

Around the time Claire talked about being "the best," my face went O_o. But. Claire. And Bennett :( It felt like we still had so much to learn about her -- ie, was she really going to torture/kill Caroline? The flashbacks suggested otherwise, but now we might never know. Which, cancellation/series finale, but *still*. And did Bennett really become just another Rossum employee, or was she playing her own game (the way everyone else is)?

Is it just me, or is this show throwing around the word "love" an awful lot?

Mm...a bit. With Echo/Ballard, definitely; I did a severe double-take when I realized that we were supposed to buy them as a romantic couple. Sure, Ballard fixated on her, but *love*? And a fully-formed "partnership" at that? Ick, no. Boyd/Saunders and Victor/Sierra were both fine to me.

Bennett/Topher...yes, I think it was rather fast, but maybe it's just because it's Topher that it was considered love--ie, definitely not how he treats/considers anyone else, actively liking someone/respecting them. You could probably also

topher and bennett: zomg wtf! when whisky/dr saunders/claire shot her, i pretty much fell out of my chair. oh topher, i never really liked you, but.. :'(

so glad paul/echo is no more. that storyline was so overdone and gag-worthy.

also-- wtf, boyd is ev0l? i'm going to attribute that to the fact that the show got cancelled and the writers didn't have time to build up to it.. otherwise the next couple of episodes are going to have a lot of explaining to do.. (we only have 2 left, correct?)

i want more victor/sierra, they are so adorable together. and this may make me sound sadistic, but i want more v/s angst. it's too easy if they're always happy and loveydovey >_>
