I Do and We Did!

My habit of being only on the short list but never making the final cut for an anthology call seems to be at an end. (I hope permanently :P ). I just found out I made it into the “I Do” charity anthology project created by alex_beecroft  and several others. All profits of the sale of the book to go to the Lambda Legal Fund and all Printing and distribution

Lol, yes it counts. I meant this was my first short story sale after a string of short listed fiction that never made it into the anthologies. It's been a frustrating few months with my shirts. Not forgetting my flash fiction and CT :)

Speaking of those Chilling Tales stories, Moon....your stories from that anthology are quite eligible for nomination to the Year's Best Lesbian Fiction anthology, which is a paying market.

In fact I was just talking to my publisher to see if they could be submitted. I haven't gotten and answer yet on whether they are submitting them or if I should. There's two of the stories I'm considering. "Boogeyman" and Blissful Lament" I'm not sure if I can send two for the judges to choose from or if only one is allowed. Thanks for the reminder. I need to recheck the aubmission rules and re-email Barb and Linda to see if they've submitted them or if I need to.
