haha, someone who is concerned about *anyone*, whoever they may be, choosing to fly business or first class on a long-haul flight, has obviously never flown extra-long-haul themselves. *chortles* XD

"They give kangaroo testicles to everyone who comes to Australia? Dinkum???"

LOL... in what context was that said?

hehe, I guess I'll find out, I didn't have time to get back to watch the online live feed, (yep, I checked, there's no region-coding on the CBS feeds! - for future reference, take note Rushies!) but I know the video will turn up somewhere so I can watch it. So funny to read all those things out of context though - hehe - can't really imagine WHAT went on but it sure sounds amusing anyway!

Well, I know someone who's travelled coach-class from Australia to the east coast of the U.S. twice now and survived! Then again, he is a bullrider. ;) Anyway, that's how I'd have to fly if I ever get to Australia; no way I could afford a first- or even business-class ticket. Not before I become a bestselling author, that is ( ... )

PS: Second Life and InWorldz aren't necessarily that perverse. They are what you make of them. It's just the graphics that looked similar.

OMG, that was not the version they showed on TV! WARNING: That Daily Show clip was uncensored (and unpixelated too!). O_O (I've never seen an uncensored Daily Show clip!!! Better go post an NSFW warning up there in my entry!)

What was the deal with the nipple rub in the beginning???

I didn't get the reference. Or was it a reference to anything at all???

Or was Geoffrey slightly inebriated? XD

You know, I rewatched the first half of the show over again, and I'm still not really sure. I thought it might have been a reference to something Craig had done in the monologue, but I just watched it again with my eyes actually on the screen, and he doesn't do the nipple rub himself. However ...

Besides pirates and showing likealike photos of Paul McCartney/Angela Lansbury and kangaroo testicles (etc.), Craig loooooves to do impressions from the movie Silence of the Lambs. His favorite is imitating that naked dance the serial killer does in front of the mirror while saying "put the lotion in the basket," which he did again last night. But lately, he's taken to referencing Anthony Hopkins when he unnerves a senator by asking her if she breastfed her child. "Toughened your nipples, didn't it?" he keeps saying in a perfect Anthony Hopkins impression. He must have said it three or four times before Geoffrey came out ( ... )

PS: We also have no idea what Chunky, the warm-up comedian, might have done before the show! Or what happened during the commercial breaks for that matter. It definitely seemed like Geoffrey was playing to the studio audience (after all these months he's spent performing on stage), perhaps forgetting there was a camera on him!

Go back to the very beginning of the first part of the interview, just before Craig interviews him sticking his chest out into the camera and talking about his physical.

Oh! And regarding how the prostate exam came up, he spent a good part of the monologue talking about having had a physical that day, including the prostate exam. (When he doesn't get too silly, Craig can be a really good interviewer/conversationalist, and the way he makes eye contact with his guests, I think he gets many of them to let their guard down to the point where they feel like they're having a private conversation with him, and with the audience howling with approving laughter, that's gotta just add encouragement!)

Darn it, I need a Columbo userpic, with his famous catchphrase, "Uh, just one more thing ..."!
