Linux kicked my ass today, like 6 hours and MythTV still refuses to work right, and likes to crash a lot.

2 more days of work left before vacation, I leave for TN on the 21st, yay!

Placement test tomorrow, uber ick, but it's the beginning of the end so, works for me.

Well got my PC's MB in a box ready to go to ASUS before work tomorrow, stuck with my Fedora9 server setup and a virtual XP box for ~10 days.

Day 1: I'm hating it. Maybe once I get XP updated and ready to go and can use... 99% of the software I like, I'll be happy.

<3 Fedora 9, while a bit of a pain, I got it fully functional right now, it's nice and fast, and with Webmin is extremely easy to manage. :D

Grr, there is something about webservers, they always seem to crap out right when you're trying to get something done. Oh well ( Read more... )

So I was given the week off work to sort things out. So far I got a temp license, a credit card (go figure), and thats it, well and a piece of mind, I feel pretty comfortable, however I still go the "what if's" situations running through my head at times. Almost hit a raccoon on my shift today, walking towards me at like 11:00pm, locked all 4 tires, sliding at him, popped off the brakes slightly to get traction again and swerve around him just in time by probably less than a foot.
