Plattsburgh. Burlington is more expensive in general and all you're paying extra for is that all too twee "New England Charm." Plattsburgh is like Burlington without all the pretension, thus it's more tolerable.
Then again, I'm biased, I grew up an hour northwest of Plattsburgh.
They would have it, I realized that after posting it, but I don't really like the place. Perhaps I'll go there if the third period (Devs-Flyers) is looking to be good.
They are students of the school of Matthew "Barnababy." The king of divers and drawing penalties... and all around "dirty hockey."
Also a student of that school is Tyson "The Rash" Nash. He started out in St. Louis and has since been traded but I'm not sure where he's playing these days. Much like "Barnababy" his primary hockey skill is drawing penalties from the other team.
I used to like Barnaby when he was traded to Pittsburgh. I hold a special place in my heart for certain former Penguins... Barnaby is not one of them

I'm the same way, I follow ex-Devils all over the place.
I'm liking Hrdina, seems to be fitting in well (at least for the short-term; long-term? who knows!).
I don't even mind Kovalev too much, but that was beyond pathetic. I'm never going to get over it! How stupid can you be to completely stop playing in double overtime?!?!
- Saturday night, after Ribeiro's little stunt, Steve and I could not stop laughing and going on about him and some of our friends who like him (we can't stand him at all... such an arrogant asshole!)were saying we were only seing that and ignoring the rest of the game. I personaly can't help but laugh at Ribeiro's lack of masculinity. It's the second or third time this year I see him act like he's dying out there because of a stupid, minor thing

Re: Ribeiro, he is soooo good, but suuuuuch a... can I still be a feminist and say "little girl"? I mean, that was beyond ridiculous.
Re: Kovy, I like him too, 99% of the time. But he was such an idiot! You have two hands, use one of them. They hadn't called a penalty in OT yet (right?) so he's incredibly naive if he thought they would surely call a slashing.
I watched the replay three times with my mouth wide open, jaw dropped to the floor. I couldn't believe it.
There had been one against Boston (Murray - Holding)
But I think that the reffing was just not there. I agree it's the series, I agree it's over time, but it's still the same game!!!!! Without the refs doing their jobs, players take liberties they usually wouldn't and then it's a whole different game. If I want to see players playing like that I'll go see a game in the LHSMQ, which is basically a league of goons.
Yeah... I know overtime makes stuff more important, meaning any call that's questionable will be examined under a microscope, but a penalty is a penalty is a penalty is a penalty...
