so we went to the SPCA on saturday for the volunteer. it was great. the place is beautiful. no cages, no icky runs, none of the kind of stuff i have seen on tv from other shelters. the animals have nice big rooms with furniture. they have beds and stuff for the dogs and huge cat condos for the cats. one of the cat rooms even had a tv! it is great.
