Sounds like good, relaxing downtime.

Sounds like you had quite a productive stay-cation! Today is the last day here of the 90's and high humidity. A cold front will come through this afternoon, and the next several days will have low humidity and temps in the upper seventies to near eighty, with nights in the upper fifties! Maybe I can actually give my bedroom air-conditioner a break! I've never owned a pool of any kind. They're too expensive (for the initial cost and then all the electric, chemicals, etc.), but at least you get to enjoy the one you have. The green beans and lima beans all got mowed down by the deer, as did the lettuce. Tom did get a handful of string beans before that though. Cucumbers, carrots, red beets, and potatoes seem to be doing well. Cute fawns in that video clip!

It was a good break from the norm. I’ll have to decompress now.

The pool is an Intek Easy-set 10’ diameter by about 30” deep model- $75 on sale from Amazon this past April. My son had one here for two or three years that he got from JobLot for just a bit more. It’s nice to sit in or float in it on a ring. It took some work to set up because the backyard isn’t quite level and I had to rototill the area and rake it ‘close’ to flat. Overall, not a bad investment :o)

Glad some of your garden is surviving!

The fawns are everywhere this year. Busy bucks last year…

Always great catchin' up, and thanks for the expandable bunnies!

That's really great about the bees... maybe you can still find a female to accompany that plant. It looks like a different subtype of sumac than we have out here.

I love that the tree attracts so many types of pollinators! Sumac was once quite common here. I’ve no idea what happened to it all.

Those bunnies were doing jumping jacks, presumably ;o)
