I remember the days of "Twilight Camp" ! I miss them. :( I'm not involved with scouting here.

What is the theme this year for your camp? I know you're pain with the butchering of your art onto a patch. I was in charge of a couple of cub scout events and each time my artwork was butchered for the sake of how many colors, size, detail, etc. of a patch.
Funny story though.. a friend was in charge one year of Twilight & she misunderstood about sending in the art work for the patch so she just sent a scribbled pictures of what she wanted. She thought that they would make it look professional & straighten the lines, print, etc. They didn't. Her patch and silk screen came back _exactly_ as she had drawn them.. and she was certainly no artist! I still have the patch and t-shirt from that one. *L*

This year's theme is 'Cubs on the Range' -- I did a sepia-toned design (like an oldtime photo) of a covered wagon with a camp set up around it. They kept the wagon but then they moved stuff all around. *grrrrrr*

The males, however, are quite happy about working twilight camp. The hubs has a group of webelos, my oldest son is running a water event, and my youngest is a 'roamer.' I'm not sure what that means but I think he serves as an errand boy. The first day started just as a thunderstorm hit but we're supposed to have better weather for the rest of the week.
