It's going to be a busy, busy day. I've got the carpet cleaners coming today so I can begin the holiday decorating. My parents are allegedly coming for the band concert next week so I want the house all done before they get here. I did most of the straightening up over the weekend so it's just getting things up off the floor and a quick vacuum for

Unfortunately, the ornaments would snap the branches!

The boys would need to revert to grammar school decorations of paper chains and popcorn to keep that from happening. Would they be willing?

We did go through a phase where we decorated the tree with origami but since my oldest son just hauled all the Christmas stuff out of the attic, I expect they've changed their minds.
