Dear Princess Celestia,
Today was a really strange day, to say the least. I met a lot of different people.
First, there were two brothers who said they came from a faraway land called America. One of them was really hotheaded and said he was looking for something called an angel, and the other one kept looking at things that no one else could see.
Then, there was something called a “consulting detective” and what appeared to be his pet. The detective said he was looking for the hound of Ponyville and that everyone was in danger.
Finally, a strange, blue box appeared out of nowhere, and a man wearing a bowtie stepped out and said that Princess Celestia’s communications with her subjects have become a gospel alongside the Winchester gospel.
I’m not quite sure what any of all that means, but, eventually, after squabbling over their differences, all five of them worked together: the brothers showed the detective how to use these things called “guns” and how to fire rock salt from them, and they showed them how to use something called a Devil’s trap.
Although the detective annoyed the brothers by telling them exactly what their respective problems were, after the detective and his pet walked away, the brothers had a real heart-to-heart, and I think they both realized that, sometimes, when you have a lot on your mind, you just have to talk it out with someone you trust.
And then the man, who calls himself the Doctor, even though he doesn’t wear a white coat like the others, offered to take them away in his TARDIS to search for the missing angel.
So, in the end, even though you might seem really different on the surface, you can always find a way to work through those differences and make some really unexpected friends.
