This sounds like it could be interesting, and at least generate some fun stories. Maybe if I could get a friend or two to suffer through it with me.

It could work like this...I'll go to the event with you and hang out at the bar while you actually participate. During intermissions and after the event you can always come and talk to me, and I can assist in talking to other girls for you and also meet the other 'contestants'. That, I think sounds like a good time.
