I know I don't post often, but I've been married for two years today. I love my wife. And that bears acknowledgment. That is all.

. . . . most of the time lately it seems. It is certainly nothing against any of my livejournal friends. I feel lucky that I also can connect or keep up with many of you vis-a-vis facebook, but even amongst that segment there are those who report on their lives in a much more substantive way here than there so I know I'm missing out. I contacted a foster at Stray feral Rescue of MN last night about a kitten that I was interested in adopting. I think Pippi would have fit into our family well. Unfortunately I have been informed that she was adopted last weekend. I got this message late last night. Yesterday was a rough one. I didn't get nearly enough sleep, but I was still energized and excited for my meeting with the volunteer co-ordinator at Dodge Nature Center. Let me back up. Ugh, I know it is my "rainy day fund" and I know I'm going in there for something rainy day worthy (new computer for the wife so she doesn't fail classes), but dipping into my savings account is still stressful for me.

. . . doing fairly well . . . got a new shrink . . . want to go back to school or at least take some classes, but don't know about the money . . . trying to shake codependency . . . started going to al-anon . . . money has been tight . . . trying to save for an extra-national vacation . . .
