[That.. was pathetic. Partly because Lovi actually got hit with it. He falls over on his back with a yelp, before dragging Eridan roughly to the ground, pinning him down with one foot and aiming punches at random. His punches wouldn't be very strong on a nation, but for mortal beings this is definitely not much fun.]

[And with a yelp he takes a couple of hits, the shift in gravity really catching him off-guard. He wasn't expecting this... he's gonna say human to be so strong. So, in a fit of wild desperation to try and turn this back around, he throws his weight into a roll to the side to try and dislodge that foot pinning him, at the same time throwing up his arms to try and block the incoming hits (and, admittedly, not doing a great job of it).]

[The roll sets Lovi's balance off, and he's forced to crouch in order to avoid falling. His next action involves grabbing Eridan's horns to pull him back, which he actually figures will probably come off on a headband or something but whatever.]

[Nope, they hold fast. And Eridan lets out a loud, not-quite-human snarling yell and sweeps his foot around to try and jam it into Lovi's shin.]

[His hands scrabble for a purchase on the ground as he tries to right himself - a valiant effort, considering the forces in play against his balance.]

[Oh, beautiful timing, Lovi. As he jerks the little punk up by the horns, that kick hits him right in the stomach. Which a yelp of pain, he drops Eridan do the ground and bends over to clutch his stomach and whine. Maybe if it's loud enough, Spain will come save him...

Oh wait he doesn't like Spain. And now Eridan has seen a sign of weakness. Time for Lovi to really flip the fuck out.] Chigi--! NOW YOU'RE DEAD, FISHY LITTLE BASTARD! [Pun intended. He jumps on Eridan, aiming to grab his throat and strangle him.]

[That small victory lets Eridan leap to his feet and out of the fray for a moment, suddenly finding the time to re-evaluate what he's up against: possibly the human equivalent of an ancestor? Definitely not a kid, anyway, but he knew that from the start. Point one: those punches hurt. Point two: taller than him. Point three: ...coming right at him-!]

[Luckily, the reflex of not putting his facial fins in danger translates to his neck as well, and he attempts to dodge to the side on instinct; though his arm snags instead and for a moment he's unbalanced again. The shock kicks him into reacting with a sudden attempt at sinking his teeth into the nearest hand.]

[ACK. The blinding rage gives way quicker than expected to searing pain coming from his arm. From... a shark? Knives? Or... OH FUCK, this kid's teeth are sharp!

All sense of Italian pride forgotten, Lovi sits down hard, bursts into tears and screams at the top of his lungs as he tries to get his arm out of Eridan's mouth.]

[Eridan finds he's likely to lose a tooth with all the struggling this guy is doing and so after being dragged back down to the floor along with him, he waits only a few seconds more before opening his mouth and retreating, now utilising some common sense and immediately brandishing the sharp points of his horns in the other's direction as a last-ditch defence.]

Fuckin - [He spits a bit of blood from his mouth.] - crywwiggler. [He'll just be crouching with his horns pointing at you, trying to look intimidating but really just looking for an excuse to catch his breath.] Stop fakin' it...!

[Lovi curls up and nurses his arm, continuing to blubber at the sight of the wounds left in his arm. Just like a child. God, Lovi, get a fucking spine.]
