Sophia and I were talking in the car about what she was going to get for christmas.

S: What are you getting me for christmas?

M: Something you haven't even dreamed of (nintedo Ds... the boys usually get the games and she has to use them when they are being nice.... not often)

S: Is it a pony?

M: No... you've dreamed of that...

S: Is it money?

M: no ( Read more... )

lol. even tho it seems wierd and creepy. that is the best compliment a mother can get.

if you're kids will joke about sex with you, they will TALK to you about it and TRUST you too.

you should feel happy :) in a creeped out cause your a mom way, of course.

PS - did you get her the pink DS, so the boys won't take it?

Oh, and, having one myself, here are a few games she might enjoy:

Kirby's Canvas Curse (fun!)
Big Brain Academy (educational and fun!)
Super Princess Peach (Peach finally gets a starring role!)
New Super Mario Bros.
Bomberman
any of the Nintendogs. (i haven't played these myself, but everyone i've talked to has said they're addicting.)

...of course, there are a plethora of other games, but i haven't played a whole lot of them. Sonic Rush is alright, too, but it's nothing spectacular.

Depending on her tastes in games, i might be able to make a few more recommendations, too.

Bonus with the DS: it'll play Gameboy Advance games, so you have even more titles to choose from - if you go to Gamestop or EB Games, you can get them used for cheap or trade in the ones they don't play anymore.

yes... I did get her the pink one!! I think that was the selling point!!

I got her one of the nintendogs (she's an animal lover...) so I am glad to hear that you have heard good reviews about it....

I've been thinking about the big brain one... would it be too hard for a 4th grader??

Super princess peach!! **sigh**

Jake is getting the new Super mario brothers... glad to hear that is good too!!

Jake always wants to go to the gamestop store... so I'll have to check out those games...

does it play the sp games too??

She doesn't really have a game taste because she has always been stuck with her brothers games...

but I am certainly happy to hear any that you think she might enjoy because I am at a loss when it comes to games....
