Summary: Something's changed about Sungmin, and Kyuhyun loses sleep trying to find out why. (Lolol, ANOTHER bad summary~ xD)
A/N: Just in case people might get confused, this is chapter is about what happens between Donghae and Eunhyuk before Sungmin runs out and Eunhyuk chases after him. So basically, it's about what happens outside the room Kyuhyun and Sungmin were in during chapter 7. If it's still confusing, don't hesitate to ask questions! :'D

Donghae shut the door, and turned around to see Eunhyuk sitting on the couch. In a state of excitement, he couldn’t control himself and flung himself onto his boyfriend.
“Eunhyukkie!~” he squealed.
Eunhyuk was gasping for air, “Hae. I. Can’t. BREATHE!”
“Oh!” Donghae immediately released him. “Sorry, Hyukkie. ;A;” He looked genuinely apologetic and sad.
Eunhyuk gave him a gummy grin and reassured him, “No, it’s ok, Hae. I know you do it out of love.”
Donghae beamed and gave him a big hug. While they were still hugging, he asked, “When did you get here?”
“Just now,” Eunhyuk replied.
“Oh... You mean when Sungmin was still sleeping on the couch?”
“Yeah. He woke up when I came in, and we talked for a bit,” Eunhyuk smiled, as if reminiscing about the days when he and Sungmin were still together, “Until he heard you and Kyuhyun talking. Then he went to check on Kyuhyun.”
Donghae felt a pang of hurt. “Hyukkie... you still haven’t told me.... How did you meet Sungmin?”
Eunhyuk pulled away. “I thought I said I didn’t want to talk about it. He’s just a friend.”
“No! He is not just a friend! I’ve seen you two together! There’s just something between you guys! Something that you and I don’t have together...”
Eunhyuk’s eyes widened at Donghae's outburst. “Hae...”
“The way you smile when you’re with him... I never see that smile when you’re with me. Just tell me... Eunhyuk... Hyukjae... What is his relationship with you?”
He never calls me Hyukjae..., Eunhyuk thought, Not unless he’s really being serious.
Silence enveloped the room. Donghae stared at Eunhyuk; his eyes pleading for him to tell the truth.
“Alright,” Eunhyuk agreed, “I’ll tell you.”
Donghae nodded, expecting an answer.
He continued, “Sungmin... was my last boyfriend... before you.”
Donghae winced. He had suspected this before, but he didn’t know that the truth would hurt this much. Eunhyuk saw the hurt on his fishy’s face, and pulled him into an embrace. Donghae didn’t refuse, but he didn’t hug him back either.
“Hae, this is why I didn’t want to tell you before,” Eunhyuk told him.
“I-It's ok,” Donghae sniffed, “I a-already expected th-that he w-was your e-ex-boyf-friend.”
“Donghae, you're my special fishy. Not Sungmin. What he and I had together, is all in the past, and that’s where it’s going to stay. He’s just a good friend to me now, and that’s all he’ll ever be.”
“R-Really?”
“Yes, Hae. Don’t worry about it. I love you, and only you.”
Donghae blushed, putting his arms around his boyfriend and burrowing deeper into his chest. He looked up at Eunhyuk, and their lips slowly met. As they kissed, Eunhyuk slowly slid his hands into Donghae's shirt. When he started to move his hand up his chest, Donghae resisted.
“Mmph!” Donghae groaned and pulled away. Breaking the kiss, he shook his head, “No, Hyukkie! I... I’m not ready yet...”
“It’s ok,” Eunhyuk comforted, “I understand.”
Donghae looked down in embarrassment. “I’m sorry for making you wait so long, Hyukkie.”
“I told you, it’s alright,” Eunhyuk smiled, “I don’t want to make you do anything you don't want to.”
“Awws, Hyukkie~ You’re the greatest boyfriend in the world. If only I could be like you,” Donghae sighed.
“Awws, Hae, I love you just the way you are. If you changed yourself, then you wouldn’t be the person I fell in love with!”
“Hyukkie!~” Donghae tackled Eunhyuk again.
“Hae~ ... You’re. Choking. Me. Again! Ack!”
Donghae let go of his boyfriend, giving him a mischievous grin. “I’m gonna go check on Kyuhyun and Sungmin,” he informed Eunhyuk. They’ve been quiet for a little too long...
He got off the couch, and walked over to the room that Kyuhyun and Sungmin were in. Opening the door, he saw that Kyuhyun and Sungmin were very, very close to each other. In fact, they were both holding onto each other. And it looked as if they were about to... kiss... Donghae’s cheeks turned pink with embarrassment. However, Kyuhyun’s eyes opened and spotted him at the doorway. He jumped away from Sungmin, whose eyes were still closed.
“Um... Did I interrupt anything?” Donghae asked, still a bit flustered.
He saw Sungmin turn to look at Kyuhyun, who exclaimed, “D-Donghae! Knock b-before you come in!”
“Oh, sorry!” Donghae tried to laugh in order to break the awkwardness. Big mistake. It just made everything more awkward. “I guess I’ll just, uh, I’ll leave.” Donghae turned around and closed the door behind him, sealing in the awkwardness.
“So how are they?” Eunhyuk piped up, scaring the crap out of Donghae, who jumped.
“Wh-What?” Donghae stuttered, still a little embarrassed from seeing the previous scene.
“How are they?” Eunhyuk repeated, “Did something happen?”
“O-Oh. They’re fine. Just, um, hugging...?” Yeah, that should do the trick, Donghae thought.
“They’re hugging?” Eunhyuk gave a disapproving look.
Donghae was suspicious at how concerned his boyfriend was, “Yeah. Is there something wrong with that?”
“Well no, but, it’s just that I didn’t expect for them to be that close to each other.”
“What do you mean? They’re best friends. Isn’t it ok for best friends to hug?”
“It’s fine, but...”
“‘But’ what? What are you trying to get at?” Donghae was starting to get frustrated at Eunhyuk’s vagueness.
“Nothing,” Eunhyuk sighed, “I’m just worried for Sungmin, that's all.”
“Why? What is there to be worried about?”
“Well, he’s my good friend. And as his good friend, I want to make sure he doesn’t fall in love with a bad guy. I just don’t want him to get hurt.”
“You mean Kyuhyun? How is he a bad guy? He’s not bad.” Why would he say that about Kyuhyun? Kyuhyun's our friend, isn't he?
Eunhyuk sighed again, “Look, I just want what’s best for Sungmin.”
“So you’re saying that Kyuhyun’s not good enough for him?”
“No, that’s not what I mea-”
“Are you trying to say that you’re the only one good enough for him?” Tears started to well up in Donghae's eyes.
“No, I’m no-”
Just then, the door flung open, and Sungmin ran out. Eunhyuk got up to see what was wrong. Just my luck, Donghae thought bitterly, Sungmin’s always interrupting everything.
Eunhyuk approached Sungmin. Getting rather close to him (or at least, Donghae thought he was), he asked, “What happened? Why did you leave?
Sungmin just seemed very upset and refused to say anything. Eunhyuk gave him a hug as an attempt to comfort him. At this, Donghae felt pangs of jealousy again, and he tried to speak up, “Eun-”
Yet again, he was interrupted by a now fleeing Sungmin.
“Sungmin! Wait! Where are you going?” Eunhyuk called after him. He turned to Donghae and commanded, “Hae, you stay here and watch Kyuhyun. I’ll go after Sungmin.”
And before Donghae could even say a word, Eunhyuk had already gone out the door, running after Sungmin. Tears spilled out of his eyes, and Donghae bursted into a crying fit. He feared the worst, that Eunhyuk would reconcile with Sungmin after catching up to him.
While Donghae was still being upset, Kyuhyun came out a moment later, looking around. When he saw Donghae crying, he went over to him.
“Um, Donghae, err, what’s the matter? W-Where’s Sungmin?” Kyuhyun stuttered, a failed attempt at consoling his co-worker.
Donghae incoherently answered, “S-Sung-m-min c-came out, an-and Eun-Eunhyuk g-gave hi-him a h-hug, and w-when Sun-Sungmin r-ran o-out, E-Eunhyuk wen-went af-after hi-m!”
“Um...” ... I have no idea about what he just said. “You mean, like, Sungmin was in this room, and Eunhyuk hugged him?”
Donghae nodded, and Kyuhyun continued, “And then, Sungmin ran away? And Eunhyuk... chased him?”
At this, Donghae started crying again, and Kyuhyun knew he had hit the spot. He felt jealous about what Eunhyuk did. No... of course there’s nothing between them... right?
“Eun-Eunhyuk’s m-my bo-boyfriend! Wh-why w-would he d-do th-that to m-me?” Donghae sniffled.
Kyuhyun tried to comfort him again, “I don’t know know, Donghae, but, err, I don’t think you should worry about Eunhyuk. I’m sure he won’t betray you.”
Donghae shook his head, “N-no! You d-don’t un-understand! Sungm-min was...”
“What? What about Sungmin?” Kyuhyun asked.
Donghae stayed still, trying to calm himself down. Then he continued, “Sungmin was Eunhyuk’s last boyfriend.”
“WHAT?!” Kyuhyun was shocked. He couldn’t believe what he had just heard. Turning away, he questioned, “W-Why didn’t Sungmin tell me this?” He felt a little betrayed, but then he thought about it. Wait, why am I feeling this way? It’s not like we’re in love or anything... Kyuhyun frowned, feeling a small pang of pain in his chest.
“I d-didn’t know either,” Donghae sniffled, the after-effects of crying, “Eunhyuk just t-told me before.”
Kyuhyun looked at the door that Sungmin and Eunhyuk ran through. It was still open. Should I run after them?, Kyuhyun pondered.
He turned around and announced, “Donghae, I’m going to look for them.”
Donghae, whose face was toward the ground before, looked up in surprise, “Wh-What? Kyuhyun, no! You can’t go! Not in your condition!” But it was too late, Kyuhyun had already left.
Donghae called after him, “Kyuhyun!”

Kyuhyun was already pretty far away now. He heard somebody calling his name in the distance, and knew that it was Donghae. Sorry, Donghae, but I can’t go back now. I need to find them. He looked around. Now where could they be?

As Sungmin ran away, Eunhyuk tried his best to catch up with him. Damn, he’s too fast for me! Sungmin was always good at running, anyways.
Sungmin turned another corner, and Eunhyuk cursed under his breath. No! I can’t lose him here.
He tried calling after him, “Sungmin! Slow down, stop running!”
Eunhyuk could see Sungmin shaking his head as he ran. He tried again, “Just tell me what’s wrong!”
Sungmin shook his head again.
“Is it... Is it because of Kyuhyun?” Eunhyuk shouted out.
At this, Sungmin suddenly slowed down a bit. Eunhyuk took advantage of this and caught up to him. When Sungmin saw Eunhyuk gaining distance between them, he tried to run faster again, but he was too late. Eunhyuk caught ahold of his shoulders. They were both panting now, out of breath from running for such a long time.
They were both quiet for a few minutes before Eunhyuk spoke up, breaking the uncomfortable silence, “Sungmin...”
Sungmin tried to turn away; he didn’t want Eunhyuk to see him crying. He didn’t like being seen as someone vulnerable, someone weak and easy to crush.
Eunhyuk knew what he was doing. He tried to look at his face, “Don’t look away, Sungmin. I know you’re not weak. You’re a strong person. But why are you crying? You hardly ever cry. Did Kyuhyun make you cry?”
Sungmin kept silent, reluctant to give up the reason.
“Please tell me, Sungmin," Eunhyuk pleaded. He didn’t want to see him suffer.
“D-Don’t worry, i-it’s not Kyu-Kyuhyun’s fault,” Sungmin finally responded.
“Then why are you crying?”
“I-It’s n-nothing... I w-was just being st-stupid.”
“No, you’re never stupid. It has to be something. Just tell me, Sungmin! Please!”
“N-No! Stop a-asking me!” Sungmin snapped, momentarily taking a break from crying, “I w-won’t t-tell you, a-alright? I-I can’t tell y-you...” If I tell you, you’ll hate me too... He started to cry again.
Eunhyuk didn’t know what to do. He didn’t know how to stop Sungmin from crying. He didn’t even know why Sungmin was even crying in the first place. His first priority at the moment was calming Sungmin down. But how am I going to do that? ... When we were still together, whenever he used to cry, I would... No, no, I can’t do that... Eunhyuk took another look at Sungmin, who was bawling his eyes out. But what choice do I have? ... Oh, screw it...
Eunhyuk cupped Sungmin’s face, and leaned down.

After running for quite a while, Kyuhyun still had no idea where Eunhyuk and Sungmin were. Feeling tired and out of breath, he really wanted to give up, but he knew he couldn’t do that, even though he didn’t know why. Maybe it’s out of jealousy...? Probably. There was no point in giving up anyways, since he didn’t know how to go back to Donghae’s house.
Looking around, Kyuhyun could see that there was nobody in the streets, since it was pretty dark outside. Although that should’ve made it easier for Kyuhyun to spot them, it was more difficult because Kyuhyun could barely see anything at all. He had trouble seeing in the dark. When he heard someone calling out “Sungmin”, he knew he caught a lucky break. He ran towards the direction of the voice, which was conveniently just straight ahead.
As Kyuhyun got closer to the source of the voice, he was able to see the outline of a person. Squinting his eyes, he recognized the figure. Sungmin! Kyuhyun saw that Sungmin was just standing idly, and he felt confused. Wait, where’s Eunhyuk? However, as Kyuhyun closed the distance between them, he was able to see Eunhyuk as well, who was standing in front of Sungmin. What are they doing...?
Kyuhyun was less than a block away now, and gasped when he saw the sight before him. Suddenly, he experienced another pang of pain inside, and he stopped running. He fell down to his knees, and clutched his chest, feeling an overwhelming sensation wash over him. As Kyuhyun started to lose consciousness, he called out to Sungmin before everything went black.

Sungmin felt Eunhyuk’s lips on his. He didn’t know why Eunhyuk was kissing him, but whatever the reason was, it got him to calm down. Sungmin pushed him off, wiping his mouth.
“Wh-Why did y-you kiss me?” he sniffled.
Eunhyuk looked down in embarrassment, “Sorry, I didn’t know what else to do.”
“B-But you didn’t h-have to kiss m-me!”
“I know! But it’s just that I used to calm you down that way when we were still, you know, dating...”
Sungmin looked away. He didn’t want to dredge up old memories.
Eunhyuk didn’t say anything else, and they both kept silent. Thinking about what had just happened, Sungmin thought he had heard someone yelling out his name before. He let his eyes wander, and he caught sight of a man lying down on the floor. “H-Hey...”
“What is it?” Eunhyuk questioned as Sungmin started moving towards the unknown figure.
“Th-There’s somebody o-on the fl-floor!” Sungmin answered.
“Huh?” Eunhyuk was baffled by his reply.
Sungmin recognized the person. It was Kyuhyun. “OH M-MY GOSH, I-IT’S KYUHYUN!” he cried out, running towards his best friend.
Eunhyuk’s eyes widened, “WHAT?!”
Sungmin reached Kyuhyun, and picked him up by the shoulders. “Kyuhyun, p-please w-wake up!” he pleaded. He looked at Eunhyuk and shouted, “C-Call an am-ambulance!”

But let's all look on the bright side here; at least I've posted now! :'D /gets shot D:
Anyways, I know there wasn't really a lot of plot advancement, since it was mostly just a different POV (point of view) of Chapter 7, Eunhyuk and Sungmin kissing, and Kyuhyun collapsing.
... Never mind, that's actually pretty big. xD
Well, just in case anyone's worrying about Kyuhyun (who am I kidding, we all care about him xD), don't worry! It's nothing serious... I think. xD I'm still trying to think of a reason for why he's sick. D:
Furthermore, here is a mini-spoiler for the next chapter~: Chapter 9 is gonna be about Kyuhyun getting sent to the hospital, and what happens while everybody flocks over to see him, which means more SJ members are gonna appear!~ :'D And maybe some more stuff about Donghae and Eunhyuk's relationship. ;]

“Um, Donghae, err, what’s the matter? W-Where’s Sungmin?” Kyuhyun stuttered, a failed attempt at consoling his co-worker.
Donghae incoherently answered, “S-Sung-m-min c-came out, an-and Eun-Eunhyuk g-gave hi-him a h-hug, and w-when Sun-Sungmin r-ran o-out, E-Eunhyuk wen-went af-after hi-m!”
“Um...” ... I have no idea about what he just said. “You mean, like, Sungmin was in this room, and Eunhyuk hugged him?”
Donghae nodded, and Kyuhyun continued, “And then, Sungmin ran away? And Eunhyuk... chased him?”
At this, Donghae started crying again, and Kyuhyun knew he had hit the spot. He felt jealous about what Eunhyuk did. No... of course there’s nothing between them... right?
“Eun-Eunhyuk’s m-my bo-boyfriend! Wh-why w-would he d-do th-that to m-me?” Donghae sniffled.
Kyuhyun tried to comfort him again, “I don’t know know, Donghae, but, err, I don’t think you should worry about Eunhyuk. I’m sure he won’t betray you.”
Donghae shook his head, “N-no! You d-don’t un-understand! Sungm-min was...”
“What? What about Sungmin?” Kyuhyun asked.
Donghae stayed still, trying to calm himself down. Then he continued, “Sungmin was Eunhyuk’s last boyfriend.”
“WHAT?!” Kyuhyun was shocked. He couldn’t believe what he had just heard. Turning away, he questioned, “W-Why didn’t Sungmin tell me this?” He felt a little betrayed, but then he thought about it. Wait, why am I feeling this way? It’s not like we’re in love or anything... Kyuhyun frowned, feeling a small pang of pain in his chest.
“I d-didn’t know either,” Donghae sniffled, the after-effects of crying, “Eunhyuk just t-told me before.”
Kyuhyun looked at the door that Sungmin and Eunhyuk ran through. It was still open. Should I run after them?, Kyuhyun pondered.
He turned around and announced, “Donghae, I’m going to look for them.”
Donghae, whose face was toward the ground before, looked up in surprise, “Wh-What? Kyuhyun, no! You can’t go! Not in your condition!” But it was too late, Kyuhyun had already left.
Donghae called after him, “Kyuhyun!”

Kyuhyun was already pretty far away now. He heard somebody calling his name in the distance, and knew that it was Donghae. Sorry, Donghae, but I can’t go back now. I need to find them. He looked around. Now where could they be?

As Sungmin ran away, Eunhyuk tried his best to catch up with him. Damn, he’s too fast for me! Sungmin was always good at running, anyways.
Sungmin turned another corner, and Eunhyuk cursed under his breath. No! I can’t lose him here.
He tried calling after him, “Sungmin! Slow down, stop running!”
Eunhyuk could see Sungmin shaking his head as he ran. He tried again, “Just tell me what’s wrong!”
Sungmin shook his head again.
“Is it... Is it because of Kyuhyun?” Eunhyuk shouted out.
At this, Sungmin suddenly slowed down a bit. Eunhyuk took advantage of this and caught up to him. When Sungmin saw Eunhyuk gaining distance between them, he tried to run faster again, but he was too late. Eunhyuk caught ahold of his shoulders. They were both panting now, out of breath from running for such a long time.
They were both quiet for a few minutes before Eunhyuk spoke up, breaking the uncomfortable silence, “Sungmin...”
Sungmin tried to turn away; he didn’t want Eunhyuk to see him crying. He didn’t like being seen as someone vulnerable, someone weak and easy to crush.
Eunhyuk knew what he was doing. He tried to look at his face, “Don’t look away, Sungmin. I know you’re not weak. You’re a strong person. But why are you crying? You hardly ever cry. Did Kyuhyun make you cry?”
Sungmin kept silent, reluctant to give up the reason.
“Please tell me, Sungmin," Eunhyuk pleaded. He didn’t want to see him suffer.
“D-Don’t worry, i-it’s not Kyu-Kyuhyun’s fault,” Sungmin finally responded.
“Then why are you crying?”
“I-It’s n-nothing... I w-was just being st-stupid.”
“No, you’re never stupid. It has to be something. Just tell me, Sungmin! Please!”
“N-No! Stop a-asking me!” Sungmin snapped, momentarily taking a break from crying, “I w-won’t t-tell you, a-alright? I-I can’t tell y-you...” If I tell you, you’ll hate me too... He started to cry again.
Eunhyuk didn’t know what to do. He didn’t know how to stop Sungmin from crying. He didn’t even know why Sungmin was even crying in the first place. His first priority at the moment was calming Sungmin down. But how am I going to do that? ... When we were still together, whenever he used to cry, I would... No, no, I can’t do that... Eunhyuk took another look at Sungmin, who was bawling his eyes out. But what choice do I have? ... Oh, screw it...
Eunhyuk cupped Sungmin’s face, and leaned down.

After running for quite a while, Kyuhyun still had no idea where Eunhyuk and Sungmin were. Feeling tired and out of breath, he really wanted to give up, but he knew he couldn’t do that, even though he didn’t know why. Maybe it’s out of jealousy...? Probably. There was no point in giving up anyways, since he didn’t know how to go back to Donghae’s house.
Looking around, Kyuhyun could see that there was nobody in the streets, since it was pretty dark outside. Although that should’ve made it easier for Kyuhyun to spot them, it was more difficult because Kyuhyun could barely see anything at all. He had trouble seeing in the dark. When he heard someone calling out “Sungmin”, he knew he caught a lucky break. He ran towards the direction of the voice, which was conveniently just straight ahead.
As Kyuhyun got closer to the source of the voice, he was able to see the outline of a person. Squinting his eyes, he recognized the figure. Sungmin! Kyuhyun saw that Sungmin was just standing idly, and he felt confused. Wait, where’s Eunhyuk? However, as Kyuhyun closed the distance between them, he was able to see Eunhyuk as well, who was standing in front of Sungmin. What are they doing...?
Kyuhyun was less than a block away now, and gasped when he saw the sight before him. Suddenly, he experienced another pang of pain inside, and he stopped running. He fell down to his knees, and clutched his chest, feeling an overwhelming sensation wash over him. As Kyuhyun started to lose consciousness, he called out to Sungmin before everything went black.

Sungmin felt Eunhyuk’s lips on his. He didn’t know why Eunhyuk was kissing him, but whatever the reason was, it got him to calm down. Sungmin pushed him off, wiping his mouth.
“Wh-Why did y-you kiss me?” he sniffled.
Eunhyuk looked down in embarrassment, “Sorry, I didn’t know what else to do.”
“B-But you didn’t h-have to kiss m-me!”
“I know! But it’s just that I used to calm you down that way when we were still, you know, dating...”
Sungmin looked away. He didn’t want to dredge up old memories.
Eunhyuk didn’t say anything else, and they both kept silent. Thinking about what had just happened, Sungmin thought he had heard someone yelling out his name before. He let his eyes wander, and he caught sight of a man lying down on the floor. “H-Hey...”
“What is it?” Eunhyuk questioned as Sungmin started moving towards the unknown figure.
“Th-There’s somebody o-on the fl-floor!” Sungmin answered.
“Huh?” Eunhyuk was baffled by his reply.
Sungmin recognized the person. It was Kyuhyun. “OH M-MY GOSH, I-IT’S KYUHYUN!” he cried out, running towards his best friend.
Eunhyuk’s eyes widened, “WHAT?!”
Sungmin reached Kyuhyun, and picked him up by the shoulders. “Kyuhyun, p-please w-wake up!” he pleaded. He looked at Eunhyuk and shouted, “C-Call an am-ambulance!”

ONE: Kyuhyun has collapsed and desperately needs medical attention! O.O
& TWO: I have not posted for like, two months. ;A;
But let's all look on the bright side here; at least I've posted now! :'D /gets shot D:
Anyways, I know there wasn't really a lot of plot advancement, since it was mostly just a different POV (point of view) of Chapter 7, Eunhyuk and Sungmin kissing, and Kyuhyun collapsing.
... Never mind, that's actually pretty big. xD
Well, just in case anyone's worrying about Kyuhyun (who am I kidding, we all care about him xD), don't worry! It's nothing serious... I think. xD I'm still trying to think of a reason for why he's sick. D:
Furthermore, here is a mini-spoiler for the next chapter~: Chapter 9 is gonna be about Kyuhyun getting sent to the hospital, and what happens while everybody flocks over to see him, which means more SJ members are gonna appear!~ :'D And maybe some more stuff about Donghae and Eunhyuk's relationship. ;]
