The Daily Record reports that the Harry Potter series was voted Britain's third favorite read in a recent poll conducted by Books.co.uk. JRR Tolkein's Lord of the Rings series came in first, followed by George Orwell's 1984.

Very ironic.

I have now discovered that 1984 has no point to ITS existence. Take that for doublethink.
