I am not a cold-weather person.  I get along with cold weather about as much as I get along with Bible-thumpers and if you know anything about me at all, you will know how volatile that kind of combination can be.  I detest frost, falling leaves, brown grass, and do not even get me started on how much I loathe the snow.  Snow is my arch-enemy, ( Read more... )

And this is why I like Australia, because we have zero snow.

Cold weather is still horrible though. If it's cold enough, it actually starts putting me to sleep.

Now I do like the cold at night when I want to sleep exactly for that reason...because it knocks me the hell out. I adore sleeping in the cold. Being awake in it, though? Not so much.

How ironic, the exact OPPOSITE thing happens to me. ::grins:: Come spring-turning-to-summer, it gets hotter and hotter and I look up to a cloudless sky and just want to cry. Hate Texas.

Eesh, yes, I can understand that. It's a dry heat there, and pretty unrelenting. The cold here is the same way and it doesn't help that the cold effects my old injuries; pain does not make for pleasant association.
