It wasn't a half bad weekend. I went to St. Augustine yesterday for the day. It was enjoyable. I went by myself because I couldn't get anyone to go with me, but it was still fun. Mutiny!
I saw Sherlock Holmes on Wednesday, and The Book of Eli yesterday. Holmes is by far the better movie to me. Eli had really good action scenes, but it got really preachy towards the end, and I could just not suspend my disbelief ( Read more... ) -

Wish I had the energy to write more, but I'm pretty tired, and I have to get up in 5 1/2 hours and work in the cold, so excuse my brevity.
I cannot expect something from nothing. And nothing I can do will change that.

Hopefully, I can post something with more meaning soon, but I'm too tired right now. Work is going well, and I'm enjoying getting a paycheck. Christmas was good. Still not sure what I'm doing for New Year's.

So a few things have happened since the last time I posted. I have gotten a job, working part time at my dad's work. It can be hard work, but it's not too bad. I get my first paycheck on Friday, and I am excited. My hours were supposed to be 7 am - 11 am, but the past few days I've been staying til almost 1. More money though. Did my shadowing session at the SPCA today. It was pretty cool. Got to hang out with some cool dogs and cats. I'll start volunteering regularly next week ( Read more... )
