Annabeth never thought she would find the bar again.
But here she is.
And without the Labyrinth's help too. (Like the last time.)
She has a sleek silver laptop with her, and she's feeling pretty good about this summer.
Part of it may be because of a boy. Part of it is very likely because she has the best job in the world.

Joining Albus near the fire, not knowing who he is, is a pretty young redhead, probably around his same age, watching his wandwork with interest.
"Nice technique. Your wrist movement rather reminds me of my boyfriend's...hullo." She smiles at him, friendly, and sets her teacup on a nearby table. "I'm Lily Evans."

He nearly lets the cup drop as his concentration wanes - mostly out of embarrassment for having an audience.
(He isn't very good at being in the spotlight.)
"Lily Evans?" he squeaks. "Like -"

"You'd...be one of my grandchildren, then?"
Reply
"Um - um. Uh. Yes."
Certainly not as articulate as that other Potter child, is he?

Tiwa is trying to figure out which design she likes best for her tattoo and sipping at her soda.

Annabeth starts to walk past Tiwa when - hey! Familiar face.
"Hi," she greets. "I remember you."

"It is, isn't it? It was a gift from Daedalus himself."

The voice belongs to a man with a ridiculously huge messenger bag on his back. He's clapping.
"What a trick!"

Feeling a little embarrassed (he isn't one for being in the spotlight), he lets the cup land properly.
"Um. Thank you."

Grimmer is nothing if not easily entertained.

"It's just magic," he explains - and it's really the only answer he can come up with. But he adds, "I'm a wizard."

Somewhere pretty much directly behind the somewhere else in the Bar, there is a girl (one who walks very quietly, considering the impressive set of stomper-boots on her feet) who, grinning very widely, flickers a tanned set of hands over the eyes of the boy seated by the fireplace.
The aforementioned grin is the sort that crinkles the eyes and wrinkles the nose and manages to make itself rather impressively audible in the chimed request of, "Guess who?"
She always wanted to check on whether or not visibility has an effect on levitation anyway.
It's kind of a two-birds-with-one-stone sort of situation, really.

Because the utter surprise of Cora's appearance makes him forget the spell, causing the cup to come to a halt in mid-air for a second before plummeting to its' doom.
Luckily the fall isn't so great that the porcelain shatters into pieces.
But the tea within it does spill everywhere.
"Bloody hell. I mean - um. Oops."

She glances at the mess speculatively.
Poor tea. We hardly knew ye. (She'll order him more later, she supposes.)
"Though it ain't nothin' I've never heard before, I'll give you that."
Reply
He leans over to grab the sole napkin he'd brought along with him when he went to order his tea from the Bar. It soaks up with tea far quicker than he would have liked, turning into a soggy brown pile.
"S-sorry, Cora. Um. Hullo. I didn't expect to see you."

He's feeling a bit shy today and unsure how to approach, but he's interested.

As it is, he doesn't notice the other boy just yet and lets the cup float in mid-air for a moment longer before feeling the need to take a sip. He lets it sink down to touch the surface of his table, then picks it up.
