Near Kim there is a man also reading--or it looks like he's reading, anyway--glancing between a calendar with penciled-in notes on most of the days showing and an electronic datebook, into which he is plugging in the information.
But the woman keeps attracting his attention, and eventually he stands to come over to her with a quiet smile. "Hello."
"Hi," he returns. "Is the wine that bad?" It's the easiest way he can broach the subject of her behavior; Charles is used to scanning for the ones who look like they're trying to avoid attention, mostly because if they're his clients--usually first-timers--it gives him a clue as to how to introduce himself.
Well then Kaidy stops running she'll have company if she likes in the form of Liz though what that company may be is debatable. The woman is still down as missing. She wouldn't mind a smoke right then, but she had to leave all her things behind when she ran.
Liz was at the point where she didn't really care she'd been noticed. She was just trying to calm down a little bit. There were no cops or crazy cult members there right then.
"Yeah." Liz nodded, not saying much more. "Thanks."
Kim has succeeded in deflecting Cayla's attention. People who don't want to be noticed should be left to it, you know?
The contents of her table, however, are another story. Cayla pauses on her way toward the back door as the cover of Kim's book catches her eye.
"I think my girlfriend is reading that." (Is it obvious that she completely loves being able to say "my girlfriend" to someone else? Because she does.) "Is it any good?"

At a well-lit table not far from the Window (he finds the view endlessly fascinating; there are always new details to pull out, no matter how many times he watches it), Reid is playing with a puzzle.
It looks like one of those mind-bender puzzles, and that is indeed what it is, but this one is... a bit more complicated than might be assumed to be the norm.
Actually, it's a Vulcan puzzle, which in itself is as much responsible for Reid's smile than the fact that it takes him more than three minutes to solve.
He is attractive, male, and also interesting to watch - if you like watching other people solve puzzles.

A seventeen-year-old boy with a badly-marked face is also standing near the window, watching what's happening outside with an odd little look on his face that isn't quite a smile. He might be bruised and battered, but he's happy to be here, and something of that shines through.

Simone's just arrived. She's starving hungry and she's got a 100kr note burning a hole in the pocket of her jeans...
She takes a deep breath and strides across the room towards the counter.
Unfortunately her coordination is apparently not at its best today, because she trips over a chair-leg and sprawls at the feet of a complete stranger.
She whacks her knees as she goes down and lets out a creative curse. In light of the fact that the person she's embarrassed herself in front of is a grown-up, and therefore a figure of some authority, she swears as quietly as she can.
[OOC: If you want a semi-detailed description of Simone's canon, go here, otherwise just note that she looks and acts pretty much like any other normal 12 year old boy.]

Her knees are a bit scraped up, and she can already feel the bruise that's going to come in on her elbow, but she's had worse.
She's used to her family swearing, sometimes at each other, sometimes just because, but teachers and other people's parents tend to be more formal, and she blinks a little in surprise at the woman.
"Yes thanks, I'm fine. Just a little rattled. I was going to get something to eat, but I must not have been looking where I was going. Can I sit here for a minute?"
For some unfathomable Bar-type reason her voice is heavily accented, but she appears to be speaking English. And she understands Kim. It is probably something to do with the fact that she must be dreaming... Yeah...

Reid notices the boy when he glances up at the Window again, and frowns slightly.
"Ah, hey, are you all right?" he asks, adding, "There's an Infirmary if you need some help," in case the boy doesn't know.
