Well this is interesting.
We're getting a thick, wet snow right now. So thick, it's dropped ~2 inches in the last two hours. I tried leaving for work a bit ago; my tires spun at the top of the driveway hill, and my car started sliding backwards. Need snow tires. Or heavier car. Maybe a Jeep ( Read more... ) -

Moving assistance, ie help us find crap
Soooo...when the desk chairs got disassembled, the screws/bolts/hardware got put...somewhere. Does anyone happen to know -where-? We'd really like to sit on those chairs, especially since the ones we've been putting our asses in are leaving with the in-laws. Moving Day
There is beer and water chilling in the fridge, boxes and bags and crates everywhere, some waiting open for the last load of dishes that dried overnight. Food's almost all gone, the walls are bare, cabinets emptied. We stayed up until 2 last night working on stuff. Now I'm up stupid early to do some more work before people arrive. Busy morning, 5 days
So far this morning I've touched base with the Craigslister who's selling us some Expedit stuff, emailed to set up/confirm another appointment, gotten my airlift repair paid for and on its way back, and confirmed delivery of the PODS in, oh, half an hour.
