I really don't want ever again to spend hours wondering where a member of my family is... luckily we had the dates wrong and my dad was asleep at the place he was staying. Urgh. This really has been a big event today.

Unfortunately I'm six minutes late, but, happy new year to UK people, and US people in advance, and Australians in.. the past!

Also, I got into Cambridge.

I have money. It is in a bank account with Barclays, one of the UK's largest banks, and tied to a Visa debit card, an international standard. Just to let anyone know who's interested, I'm not around from the 20th to the 25th because I'm on a lovely Biology field trip that I'm dreading. See you after!

While in town today, I saw a large number of people - at least 20 - wearing black T-shirts with 'JF 2004' on the front, and 'I'm an Alien' on the back. They ranged from young children to middle-aged people, and weren't together in any particular group, they were just shopping normally.

What on Earth was going on?

Well, I passed my driving theory test, which is good! I still have a practical test to do in a little while.

Exams also coming up very shortly, which I'm not looking forward to much - three Biology, three Chemistry, two Physics and two Maths.
