I got some really fun presents in the fandom_stocking exchange!  I thought I'd share them here so other people can love them too (I assume none of my generous and wonderful recipients will mind if I share the love!)

My responses to those of these which are relevant to my interests:

Both Eowyn/Faramir stories: YES. VERY YES.

Barda/Scott in the shower: OMG that is adorable and sexy and I love it. I dig anything with Barda in it, the world needs more beautiful boisterous women

Dick + Damian + Jason: BRB, ROFLING forever and ever. This needs to be an actual comic. I would buy it and frame it on my wall

Bruce/Selina: Purrrrrrr. That is all.

Damian/Steph Batgirl inc: This is another one I'd love to nominate for Please Be Actual Canon Now. That would be such an awesome series. Also, those two make a bizarrely cute couple.

El Dragon Christmas: I have no idea who El Dragon is, but I agree, sometimes Superdictionary fic is necessary. Now, pardon me, if that is Dick Grayson Robin in this fic, I need to go help him try out those handcuffs. *coughcough*

Both Eowyn/Faramir stories: YES. VERY YES.

I don't know quite what happened with my Eowyn/Faramir muses, but...even though they're both such mature, wise characters at the end of the series, they both have this passionate, reckless streak as well that I feel like could easily complicate their relationship (in some cool ways!)

...you know in the AU she ends up defeating the damn One Ring's influence over him eventually. She is just that awesome.

I love Barda, and my adoration of her is only compounded by her fervent enthusiasm for mundane life on Earth. She is so fantastic!

If anyone could defeat the One Ring through sheer sexy power, it would be Eowyn.

And aww, I hope the OP still appreciated their story even though it was cracky. I mean, it was amazing. Seriously. If I found that under my tree, so to speak, even if I had said no silly, I'd be too busy laughing and squee'ing to complain.

I loved your Dean/Emily story- he's so much more mature here than he was in the books. I know he was older than Emily but he came off like a selfish child when they got engaged. Teddy got her writing, but then she also understood about his painting.

Anyway, your Dean was a more interesting person than Book!Dean.

I was so disappointed in Dean when I read the books as a kid! I expected better of him... Well, fanfic is where I can have him finally live up to my expectations, lol...

Ahhh, so much fic to read! I've had a look at the Eowyn/Faramir ones, though, and they were both awesome, though the AU one made me shiver a lot... (I would love to see Eowyn defeating the Ring and Faramir! *hints*)

I'll have to bookmark this and come back later for the others! :)

Yeah, that AU story kind of came out of left field at me, I admit it! I might have to put Eowyn's eventual triumph on my two-write list... :)
