The feeling.
He’s done now, he’s ending it. He’s made a choice. Cut her out of his life.
He’s waiting for it to go away.
But he can’t stop feeling-
hurt
furious
sick
ashamed
hopeful
He can’t stop feeling--
He pushes it away but still it returns, he cuts it apart but still it scabs over and grows back.
It hurts more than anything, and sometimes he thinks that this is why he cannot banish it.
Because if he cuts away every feeling related to her, perhaps he will have no feelings left.
