took a car downtown where the lost boys meet

i took a car downtown and took what they offered me

to set me free

not afraid of drugs
not afraid of how they make me feel
only afraid of what they make others do

not afraid of the end of the world 
or the idea of death 
only afraid of not having been alive enough

and only really afraid 
of seeing the reality of things that i idealize

today i saw how a baby was born 
and it was disgusting
and akward 
beautiful 
and really
overrated..

then i felt like vomiting and fainting and i had to leave the room

the baby's name was joline.
