I'll take more of either one. And I have noticed that not having been a Buffy-watcher is a distinct disadvantage in the HP community. And it appears that Firefly is becoming a similar problem, although I have at least seen several of those episodes and the movie. ;-)

I have enough trouble with Hagrid's speech! Getting Jayne down would be a challenge.

Today I caved and looked up the sense of Drabble that had nothing to do with Sunday comics.

One hundred words? Bah!
Just seventeen syllables
in my fave short form.

Yeah, but it's tough to have a plot in a haiku. Plus, not so good with the poetry, me.

Really more of a cross between a drabble and an entry into the "It was a Dark and Stormy Night" contest (just change the periods to semi-colons).

Didn't you want it to be? It was terrific! I'd say you might even get an honorable mention, but only if you add a couple of dashes as well, and maybe even two or three exclamation marks.
