And here's the drabble for keumgang. He was really (and, undoubtedly, intentionally) cruel.

Lady Sylvia leaned back against the squabs of her chaise and gazed out of the window. She should have been thinking about her come-out, and all of the balls and rout-parties that would happen once she reached London. She should have been thinking about her duty, how she could possibly attract a husband of whom both her mother and her father would approve. If that weren't possible, watching the landscape as it ambled by would have been acceptable. What she shouldn't have been doing was allowing her eyes to linger far too often on the broad back of her father's newest groom, Cobb.
Okay, so that was more the opening paragraph of a super-cheesy romance (where he turns out to be the long-lost son of a duke) than a true drabble, but how else was I to put Jayne into Regency, I ask you?
