It's been a while since Parker entered Milliways, and it shows. His entire demeanor, almost relaxed when he opened the door shifts to a more closed language.

Taking a cigarette out of his pocket, he lights it and takes a seat at the bar.

Knocking on the wood, he says, "Keep that door open, you hear?"

Door opened. Went home.

Parker comes home a while later. He's wearing new clothes, and he hopes that Jack can pay for them, because he used Jack's money.

If you woke up and I was in bed with you, what would be your first thought?

They're at the apartment again. This time not because of Parker.

They're still in bed, sheets twisted almost violently around their legs, Parker's rubbing an absent hand across Jack's back.

Parker opens the door and hesitates at the threshold, pausing with one foot almost inside. He looks like he's debating closing it and forgetting he saw Milliways.

Parker's staring at the letter in his hands, turning it over and over.

Finally, he stands and shoves it into his back pocket. Sitting again, he orders a beer.
